To learn: personally I would like to learn to let things go more. I have a hard time dwelling on stuff that really doesn't matter in the big picture of life.
And on another level - would love to try digital scrapbooking.

What would I like to learn in the next twelve months? How to converse in French. I can read it, write it, and speak it but can I understand it when it's spoken back??? 2009 is when I want to crack that one haha

I would love to learn how create digital pages. I love the feel and dimension with traditional scrapbooking, but would love to add to it. I have seen some amazing stuff that you can do and would love to learn a little more.

Hi Ali, wow what great give aways...
I continue to struggle with becoming a good photographer to capture the moments of my life. I want to put my words and photos together in a more meaning ful fashion. I have done two of your CKU albums: A Week In The Life, and Evolution. Both were wonderful experiences but I became aware of how necessary photos...good photos are.
Have a great day, Catherine A

Dec 1 was my birthday and my wonderful husband gave me my DREAM camera... however it is a little late and it arrives by Fedex today. So this year I really want to learn my camera inside and out, and how to take the tricky shots like low-light and sports action pictures. I would like to get a whole wall of black and white portraits up and, as always, document my family's life joyfully. Can't go anywhere today because it's one of those Fedex's that you have to sign for so I'm hovering around the door....

I want to learn to keep my life simplified. I've been reading a book called Simplify Your Life, by Marcia Ramsland, which is really about organization in all areas of your life, but especially in your home. It has tons of practical suggestions. This is something I would really like to impliment, and learn to keep doing in my life, in the next year.

The easy answer is I'd like to learn another language, such as Italian or Spanish. The hard answer? Well, how much time have you got? LOL.
    Cheers!

what do I want to learn in 2009? Learn to be more pennywise, learn to scrapbook, learn not to brood over everything so much, learn to simplify my life, learn to be more content with little things.
I think that are the main parts. I'm on my way to these goals but it is not that easy...

We have a lovely coffee table that opens up into a chess/backgammon board. I have three sons rapidly becoming teenagers and want to re=learn and teach them to play backgammon - just one of the ways I want to enjoy time with them as they grow into young men. Thanks Ali!

I would love to learn a few things. One is how to make my scrapbook pages POP. I have been scrapping for over 10 years, but yet still have no idea how or when to use some of the wonderful new products out there. I would also love to learn how to organize my home and life so it is not so cluttered and chaotic. This would give me more play time.
