Well, in the craft realm, I'd like to learn tatting. I have even found someone to teach me.
But what I would really like to learn is how to worry less. How to just do what I can do and leave what I can't do to God. That would be a true lesson.

There are actually two things I'd really like to learn this year: 1) how to use Photoshop Elements that I purchased back in June and 2) how to use my new Canon XSi. If I can manage that, I'll be one happy woman!

Learning to say no to the things that aren't important...that's what I'd like to learn in the next 12 months. That would open up so much time for family, creativity and joy. Anyone out there giving lessons on this?

I would like to learn more about my own spirituality and beliefs. This is not a part of my life that I've ever been interested in but I've been learning some things that have made me rethink this. I'd like to continue learning in this area.
I'd also like to learn how to find more time to scrapbook and use my camera more effectively.

I want to learn to live confidently, to give myself fully to what I am doing without feeling guilty for not doing something else instead. I want to learn to love others more fully.

Hey Ali, I think my mantra for 2009 is going to be "Balance"; seeking it out in every way possible and striving for it in every aspect of my life. I just turned 40 in October and it's really been a pivotal time for me. I don't know if I'm having a mid-life crisis or what, but I've really been struggling with questions about what I've accomplished in my life so far, how those things define me as a person, and who I really want to be "when I grow up". I've found that I've become bolder and more courageous in some ways, but am discouraged by how I still seem to get bogged down in the drudgeries of daily life. So... I feel a real need to find balance and a sense of peace about who I thought I would be and who I am, my responsibilities and my desires, what people expect of me and who I want to become.
Be aware of wonder. Live a balanced life--learn some and think some and draw and paint and sing and dance and play and work every day some. Robert Fulghum
Happiness is not a matter of intensity but of balance and order and rhythm and harmony. Thomas Merton

This coming year is going to be the year that I find a way to put myself, my health (both mental and physical)and my love of crafting art front and center...instead of dead last or whenever there is time, which there never is. Thank you for sharing Ali.

I'd love to learn how to ice skate. Now that I live in a cold climate, I ought to find something I enjoy doing when it is freezing outside :-)

There are many things I would like to learn, however the most attainable goal I have is to learn how to be an elementary librarian and receive my certification for this area. I would also like to learn to use Photoshop; like everyone else:)

I have learn that you need more than photos in your scrapbook. Having events with no photos isn't a bad thing it's actually a good thing. I have limited my self to a simple amount of photos when we go out.
