In the up coming year I would like to take the time to learn more about photography especialy how to capture people and their expressions without all the background noise. I would also like to attempt digital scrapbooking. I am to scared to even start, just waiting for the perfect timing I guess.

One thing I'd like to learn this year is how to use my time better to get more projects done. I have all these grand ideas, and then end up doing less and less creating every year. I just have to get back to it!

I have so much I want to learn that its hard to just name one...I received a digital SLR camera this year and I am struggling to learn how to use it. I want to finally get it figured out so that I can capture the important things in life that seem to pass us by so quickly. I have a lot to learn so I hate to add to that, but since its related I'd also like to learn how to edit photos in fun and creative ways.

Wow, thanks for the giveaways! I would like to learn how to use my original digital rebel. My bf has been wanting to buy me a new digital SLR, which I can't justify until I learn how to use the one I have since it's a great camera. I have already made a great start by attending Karen Russell's 9-hr photography workshop last month.

First, I would like to continue a 2008 challenge to be thankful for where I am right now, at this minute. Second, for 2009 I want to learn more about my wonderful digital camera and how to use my computer to do what I want with my photos.

I want to learn how to take better care of me. Seems I misplaced the instruction manual and have allowed myself "to go" a bit more than I like. I need to recharge the hair, grease and lube the joints, tune-up the attitude and not allow so much daily wear and tear without proper rest. Once I'm feeling a bit better about me, I think the rest will fall in place. Don't get me wrong, definitely not depressed, just complacent. I need fresh batteries.

Ok, it's a little silly even TRYING for the prize with over 1500 entries.... but I have a lot of things I'd like to learn. I'd like to learn how to use Adobe Illustrator and Dreamweaver (I already have the foundations of Photoshop) so that I can create some totally amazing websites!

Those scrapbooks and those supplies are making my mouth water! In the next twelve months I'll be a student of many things. I've already decided that the year will be one of major personal growth and, in some ways, transformation. One of the specific things I hope to learn is painting technique. I know that I have the hidden potention, but I'd like to unlock it. I can continue to self-teach, but my goal is to enroll in a local art school to get an MFA. I guess I decided to believe my friends and family when they say, "Wow, you made this? This is really good."

Where should I start? I would like to learn to knit, to find better ways to teach my students, and, most of all, be always calm and patient with my wonderful family.
