Friday musings on this & these.
These two : seriously cool and obviously quite the pair. One pulls hair + the other snuggles a little too tight. All in the name of love.
OTHER THINGS FOR TODAY
This book : resting on my nightstand is inspiring me in so many different ways.
These friends : gathering together again this weekend for renewal & creative rejuvenation & rest.
This excerpt : And specifically this quote, "Your armor is preventing you from growing into your gifts."
This layout : documenting Anna's first 7 days:
[ Creating Keepsakes August 2009 ]
This post : "love life, not stuff."
This class : encompassing me in so many good and challenging ways.
This thought : As I wind down tonight I am feeling really thankful for all of you out there who read, comment, send me emails and share you stories and struggles and questions and praise.
Thank you for being a part of my life's journey.
I really liked the link to the Blog about love life not stuff. After reading it I felt that everything that was written is so true. The one part that really touched me was about how sometimes we have issues with getting rid of something that we dont use. I will debate weather or not to get rid of something for days. This artice has given me a new perspective. Thanks!

Ali, this is just the cutest photo of your two very beautiful children. It is so sweet how Simon adores his little sister. Anna is changing so fast already.
We appreciate you so much. You are so talented and wonderful to visit every day...you are awesome, missy.

I love the LO of Anna's first days. My little babe was born on December 26th and I have taken a picture of her on the 26th of every month since. I hope to create a layout (or a mini-book) documenting her first year with these pictures. I haven't been really good at writing things down every month. But I think I will remember because this time around I have taken it all in. Concentrated on HER, not what we do for her. It's been amazing and it has gone way too fast. Thank YOU Ali for letting glimpses of YOUR life be shown on your blog. I love reading it every day! I have also gotten some great items from links on here and project ideas too. Thank you!

Thanks for letting us come into your life everyday. This is truly a blog that is first on my list to read everyday. It's inspiring, mentoring, and warm. You are so much like me in so many ways, yet different too. It's something I read to help me relax each and every morning. Something snuggly, like a big cup of cocoa. Or in your case, Coffee Latte.

My Grandma used to tell me when I was your age and my children were your children's ages that time flies and I should enjoy them while they are young. My children are now young adults. I have a doctor, an actor and a chef - all three different. I cherish all the hundreds of photos I took and I can't believe Grandma was so right. Time does fly. Enjoy every day you have them.

Snuggling too tight is an impossible habit to curb. I cannot help myself, once I get my arms around something as cute as Anna - just try to pry me away! I don't blame you for a second Simon.

Thank you for this post.
I found your blog a year ago when I was looking for scrapbooking guidance and now have a list of sites I check regularly because you led me to them. Finding words of others that resonate so deeply with me has helped me find my own voice and feel less alone. You can't imagine how much this has meant to me.
