TodaysMama.com and GameStop.com have made it their mission to give Santa a run for his money this year. TodaysMama.com is hosting Mama’s Holiday Wish List, a huge giveaway on their site and they’ve shared their stockpile of gifts with me so I can share them with you.

The annual Mama’s Holiday Wish List contest gives people a chance to read and share heartwarming, funny and inspiring answers to the Holiday Wish List Meme for a chance win a fantastic grand prize package from GameStop.com. Entering is easy, get the details and enter the grand prize giveaway here.

Here are my personal answers to the Holiday Wish List Meme:

  • What is your holiday wish for your family? That we giggle and laugh and snuggle and get all cozy together and really feel that awesome Christmas magic. We are in the prime Christmas magic years around here.

  • What is your Christmas morning tradition? Wait for the pitter-patter of Simon's feet in the hallway. Head downstairs and get all choked up over how excited he gets that Santa has visited our house. Just thinking about adding in Anna's excitement this year is almost too much for me to handle.

  • If you could ask Santa for one, completely decadent wish for yourself, what would it be? This is my most decadent dream gift at the moment: Volvo XC90.

  • How do you make the holidays special without spending any money? Listen to Christmas music via Pandora on your computer. I think one of the greatest gifts we can give our kids (and ourselves) is just spending time hanging out around the tree - playing with toys we already have, talking about the history of our ornaments, reading holiday books from the library and our own collection, chattering about Santa, etc.

  • What games did you play with your family growing up? We played Monopoly, Clue and lots of Super Mario Brothers.

  • What holiday tradition have you carried on from your own childhood? Opening one present on Christmas Eve (we do PJ's here - when I was a kid it was one we picked out - usually something from a relative) and having an ornament box. My family was a little unique in that we often went together the day before (or a couple days before) Christmas and all shopped together - literally picking out our own gifts. We'd come home, put them all into a big wicker basket/chest in the living room, and then open up the chest on Christmas morning. We usually drove to downtown Seattle for the day which always made it even more special.

  • Where would you go for a Christmas-away-from-home trip? My parents will be in Hawaii this year and I'd love to be spending the holidays with them.

  • Check out GameStop and tell us, what are the three top items on your GameStop Wish List this year? Simon's a big Lego WII fan and I love Mario. It would be fun to add Lego Star Wars 3: The Clone Wars or Lego Batman to our collection.

I love Sorry. I played it a lot as a child and we introduced our son to it when he was 4 or 5. It is easy enough to a young child to play but interesting enough to be fun for the adults, too. We've spent many hours playing Sorry together.

I love Animal Crossing and Porfessor Layton games on the DS. The kids are really into all the lego board games at the moment. Great fun.

My boys have alot of Xbox games that they always play. But we like to pull out the traditional board games once and awhile too. We love playing Battleship and Trivial Pursuit. Always makes for a fun evening.

We just had a Wii tournament with my siblings and families for Thanksgiving Day. My niece set up brackets and we played balance games like ski-jumping and "the bubble" before eating a gorgeous turkey dinner! The tournament was complete with a home made trophy! Coco won the trophy. We all had a blast playing with the Wii!

My favourite game is Settlors of Cattan but I think the favourite family game has to be Sorry - we actually play on the board I used as a child so so many years ago.

We are a huge board game family. We are just starting video gaming. My five year old has asked for a DS from Santa. I have my fingers crossed that Mariokart will be added to the wish list :) So much fun and great memories made I'm sure.

My favorite game, Scotland Yard, isn't a well known game, but is oh so fun! Growing up, my favorite games were aggravation and scrabble. My boy's favorite board game is Clue.

Right now my favorite game is Mexican Train (a domino game)...it is fun for the whole family. If I will I will replace our Wii. My husband just gave ours to a less fortunate family who has a disabled girl that can use it more than us. :) On the Wii fit my favorite game is the snowball fight!
