Three people will receive a word necklace from Lisa Leonard Designs.
Lisa's been a great supporter of One Little Word the past few years and came up with a really lovely design for this year's words. For 2011, "the word of the year necklace is a thick, narrow tag with a large ball, strung from sterling chain and finished with a freshwater pearl. we'll hand-stamp the tag with your very own word."
A simple necklace is a wonderful way to commemorate your one little word.

I'm grateful to have turned 40 and to have been able to do 40 new things this year. Some of the highlights were going to the Dominican Republic a week after the earthquake in Haiti to provide medical help, participating in a 5k w/my daughter, graduating w/my MSN and many more. I am soooooo blessed to have had the opportunity to do these things.

well, in light of adopting two little girls, it is easy to say that the quickest and easiest thing I can be grateful for is their birthmoms who made the selfless decision to carry the precious cargo, then offer them to me. Our family is complete, and our cups runneth over! It is a good, good life!

I am grateful for my daughter's health. It was a ROUGH year. There were times I wasn't sure we would be celebrating Christmas with her in 2010, and we were completely blessed with a knowledgeable neurologist who was able to pinpoint the issues and help us work toward a successful future for her.
My word this year is TIME... it's all we have, it's how I chose to use it this year that will make all the difference.

I am so grateful for my family and friends and their love and support. December was a very difficult month for several friends- loss of children, failed marriages and ill parents. It made me realize how fragile life can be. It also made me pause and reaffirm what is truly important in life.
