Three people will receive a word necklace from Lisa Leonard Designs.
Lisa's been a great supporter of One Little Word the past few years and came up with a really lovely design for this year's words. For 2011, "the word of the year necklace is a thick, narrow tag with a large ball, strung from sterling chain and finished with a freshwater pearl. we'll hand-stamp the tag with your very own word."
A simple necklace is a wonderful way to commemorate your one little word.

I'm thankful for my husband's job, which allows me to stay home with my three kids and for my new job at a local scrapbook store which allows me to have some fun spending money and some kid-free time with paper & scissors. :)

I am grateful for all the mini-trips our family was able to take together whilst living in Texas the first half of this year. Having my husband only work 9 days (instead of 10) every two weeks allowed us extra three-day weekends which we took advantage of and spent much-needed time together.

I am grateful for many things...I often forget to reflect on these things, so thank for the opportunity.... My son achieving A's and B's when he struggled to read at grade level just a year ago, my daughter and I learning how to have a relationship that is respectful - yet still both maintaining our fierce independence, my husband-finally stepping out to take a new role at work, even though it totally freaked him out, I am most grateful to still have my mom each day I still have her....cancer is trying hard to take her...but we are fighting harder to keep her!

Divorcing, living and raising 4 kids is hard, but by taking my time I know I will make the best decisions for my family and the decisions I made in 2010 are the catalyst.

I am grateful that after so much personal hardship I managed to get up, dust myself off and make my dreams a reality by starting my own business. As a single mum I have given my kids and I an income, I am now a happy Mum and Woman who feels confident and empowered. In 2011 my word is Commitment.
