Three people will receive a word necklace from Lisa Leonard Designs.

Lisa's been a great supporter of One Little Word the past few years and came up with a really lovely design for this year's words. For 2011, "the word of the year necklace is a thick, narrow tag with a large ball, strung from sterling chain and finished with a freshwater pearl. we'll hand-stamp the tag with your very own word."

A simple necklace is a wonderful way to commemorate your one little word.

I am grateful for a year without a hurricane (I live in Houston and really don't want to experience another hurricane like hurricane Ike)!

I'm with you, Laurie. My month with a generator during Ike was enough for me!

So entirely grateful my Dad survived his 3 weeks in the hospital, is now home and feeling good, and after over SIXTY years of smoking has had his LAST cigarette! I'm not just grateful, I rejoice.

After loosing my father in May, I am grateful that I had the most wonderful dad in the world for 47 years of my life and that my boys (10,12,& 16) will always have wonderful memories of all the adventures and stories they shared with their grandfather.

In 2010, I learned how to feel more and think less. I am thankful to be following my heart more than my head.

This year I am so very grateful for my son's progress. As an eleven year old boy with Autism, he has conquered many hurdles this past year, and grown tremendously. I'm grateful for his teachers, aides, and therapists, and for their patience and care.

My husband started a new job in 2010 and one of the benefits was having the week between Christmas and New Years off with pay! What a gift this was to me and our children. He had been working about 55 hours a week since September with no only Sundays off. What a gift this was! I was more thankful for this than any other of my Christmas presents. It allowed us time to reconnect as a family!

I am so grateful to have my mom and dad still with us. It has been a looong 10 years or more of bad health, hard to get appointments, this last year we seem to have dad settled and healthy, mom a bit more too. It's definitely taxing at times but oh so worth it when we get together and all illnesses get pushed aside.

I am grateful for my family and friends...2010 was a rough year (lost my Father, job, moved across country) and they were there for me. I am hoping that 2011 will be better.
