Sponsor Giveaways | The Mother Load, Summer Card Camp 2011
GIVEAWAY | One person will receive a spot in Lain Ehmann's upcoming 13-week online class at Big Picture Classes: The Mother LOAD: A Scrapbook Marathon
SPECIAL OFFER | In addition to receive $20 off of The Mother LOAD use code: load2011
Are you a marathon scrapbooker? Do you want to be? As crazy as it may sound, scrapbookers have a lot in common with runners. Both can run into the same problems – lack of time, isolation, a routine that has become more of a drudgery than a help. The good news? You can easily overcome these obstacles.
No, Lain won’t make you run 26.2 miles in just a few hours – but she will challenge you to scrapbook 26 layouts in 26 days! Through The Mother LOAD - A Scrapbook Marathon, part of the 4Experts series for 2011, Lain will show you how committing to making scrapbooking a priority in your life will help you:
- Scrapbook faster
- Love your pages more
- Actually USE your stash
- Connect with what you love best about this hobby of ours
The first two months of class will be spent on “basic training” to increase your stamina, refine your process, and get you mentally and physically ready for the ultimate challenge: creating a layout a day for the first 26 days of September. After you cross the finish line, there will be time for reflection – and celebration!
For more information, and to register, please visit The Mother LOAD.

I am inspired by my son's courage. He is starting college next week and with his learning disabilities it will be challenging. He is determined to do it and I am so proud of his bravery, facing his fears and doing it anyway.
I would love to win the cardmaking class. Sounds like fun! Thanks for the chance to win.

My inspiration lately has been my new laundry room/stamp storage. Here are 3 pictures of the room: http://www.twopeasinabucket.com/gallery/member/312011-mm786/1741452-stamp-storage-in-laundry-room/
I LOVE seeing all my birthday stamps on display as well as sorting the others into categories. I found so many old stamps that I had forgotten, but still love. The room has inspired me to create a tons of cards and that in turn has helped me overcome some negative feelings from getting laid off and cleared my scrapbooking block.
Wining a class would be a wonderful extravagance for me right now. Thanks for the chance to play.

Funnily enough, today I was inspired reading about a father/son team who compete together in marathons. The son is a quadriplegic and his father pushes in a wheelchair the length of the races! Helped put some of my "difficulties" into perspective.

I have been inspired this week by the Quilt Sampler magazine for the spring/summer 2011. http://www.etsy.com/listing/72941250/quilt-sampler-magazine-spring-2011 While this is an Etsy site, the fabrics also have peaked my curiosity in what I can do to use a quilt pattern in my scrapbooking. I love all the quilt sampler magazine's that come out! Soooo much fun!

I'm just back from my last "long" training walk before a half marathon next Sunday. Wouldn't it be perfect to win a marathon scrapbook class from this comment?

I stink at link sharing or really much of on-line inspiration, however, this past week I was inspired by something my husband said about my mother, "She is so strong and people don't see it. The strength it takes to stick with it."

Any kind of journaling project inspires me - I'm always struggling with journaling - I guess it's because I think too much and re-think even more...

I'm a huge card maker and can't wait for the Summer Card Camp! I would love to win a seat in that class. My big inspiration this week has been Girl Scout cookie boxes. I make notebooks using the box for the front and back covers and filled the inside with lined paper. I'm going to give one to my daughter's troop Cookie Mom and Troop Leader.

I have some a blog that is my photo inspiration every week. A good friend Treva Kane from right here in central Illinois is my favorite photographer. Her pictures always give me the fever to try to replicate them and to then, of course, scrap them! Thanks for the opportunity to win this amazing prize!! www.copykatoriginals.com

I so need the mother load class. I want to get as much of my daughters high school years scrapped before her graduation party next May. The card class would be fun also as I am just starting to make cards and any advice and help would be much appreciated.
Not really sure if there has been something that has inspired me lately. I have tried a few things that are new to me this week, including making a banner for my DH's birthday next week. He is a big Batman fan and I just got the Batman cartridge, so I have made a banner to put up after he leaves for work that day. Can't wait to see his reaction when he gets home that night. :)
