Sponsor Giveaways | The Mother Load, Summer Card Camp 2011

GIVEAWAY | One person will receive a spot in Lain Ehmann's upcoming 13-week online class at Big Picture Classes: The Mother LOAD: A Scrapbook Marathon

SPECIAL OFFER | In addition to receive $20 off of The Mother LOAD use code: load2011

Are you a marathon scrapbooker? Do you want to be? As crazy as it may sound, scrapbookers have a lot in common with runners. Both can run into the same problems – lack of time, isolation, a routine that has become more of a drudgery than a help. The good news? You can easily overcome these obstacles.

No, Lain won’t make you run 26.2 miles in just a few hours – but she will challenge you to scrapbook 26 layouts in 26 days! Through The Mother LOAD - A Scrapbook Marathon, part of the 4Experts series for 2011, Lain will show you how committing to making scrapbooking a priority in your life will help you:

  • Scrapbook faster

  • Love your pages more

  • Actually USE your stash

  • Connect with what you love best about this hobby of ours

The first two months of class will be spent on “basic training” to increase your stamina, refine your process, and get you mentally and physically ready for the ultimate challenge: creating a layout a day for the first 26 days of September. After you cross the finish line, there will be time for reflection – and celebration!

For more information, and to register, please visit The Mother LOAD.

Sounds so cliche, but inspiration is literally everywhere-my problem is that I make mental notes of it, then forget it! Anyway, Karen Grunberg wrote an article on Write Click Scrapbook that was a total a ha!/duh! moment for me. Read it and I'm sure you'll agree!

My husband and I are moving our family from Michigan to Kentucky and he left yesterday. With this move I have been inspired to appreciate and remember where I have grown up and where our children have been raised, so far :) I have been taking pictures of all of our favorite places and the area around our house! The Marathon Class would be a great way to get all these memories into a book :)

I am constantly inspired by Project Life postings on yours & Cathy Z's blogs; mine has been neglected since the birth of my newborn 6 weeks ago. A 40% off sale at Walgreens inspired me to order a bunch of pics for my neglected book. (I have NOT been too busy to take pics of our family and like how my computer files them by date, making PL easier to accomplish.) Other than that, my inspiration for the week has been a recommendation from the pediatrician for taming our 2-year old's behavior: 1, 2, 3 Magic. We just ordered THIS BOOK and are anxiously awaiting it's arrival:
