Sponsor Giveaways | The Mother Load, Summer Card Camp 2011

GIVEAWAY | One person will receive a spot in Lain Ehmann's upcoming 13-week online class at Big Picture Classes: The Mother LOAD: A Scrapbook Marathon

SPECIAL OFFER | In addition to receive $20 off of The Mother LOAD use code: load2011

Are you a marathon scrapbooker? Do you want to be? As crazy as it may sound, scrapbookers have a lot in common with runners. Both can run into the same problems – lack of time, isolation, a routine that has become more of a drudgery than a help. The good news? You can easily overcome these obstacles.

No, Lain won’t make you run 26.2 miles in just a few hours – but she will challenge you to scrapbook 26 layouts in 26 days! Through The Mother LOAD - A Scrapbook Marathon, part of the 4Experts series for 2011, Lain will show you how committing to making scrapbooking a priority in your life will help you:

  • Scrapbook faster

  • Love your pages more

  • Actually USE your stash

  • Connect with what you love best about this hobby of ours

The first two months of class will be spent on “basic training” to increase your stamina, refine your process, and get you mentally and physically ready for the ultimate challenge: creating a layout a day for the first 26 days of September. After you cross the finish line, there will be time for reflection – and celebration!

For more information, and to register, please visit The Mother LOAD.

So excited to hear about the Marathon class. I've definitely lost my mojo (barely touched my scrapbooks since completing my DD in mid January). I need to stop blaming the business of 4 kids and carve out a little time for me.

Thank you so much for the opportunity to win. Guilty of taking too long to just jump in and get some stories told, I really need a jump start to stop wasting time. Thank you for your post the other day mentioning that your family is going no-TV for the summer. I've decided to do the same for ours (except for the odd movie night as well) and between that found time and the tools I will hopefully learn in this class, I feel rejuvinated for my scrapbooking. Sure would be nice to win the class...but in the meantime, thanks for the $20 off coupon!

I'm inspired this week by Nichole Heady; http://nicholeheady.typepad.com/.a/6a00d8341c64e753ef014e8914b467970d-pi A simple embellishment of a scrap of ribbon, a button, some twine and a few machine stiches; perfect!
Thanks for the chance to play along; I DEFINITELY plan to join the Summer Card Camp, one way or another!

Which one of us doesn't have a backlog of stories we want to tell??? I know I do and would love to have a push to go a bit faster with the process and still love it.

Oops forgot to add my link. I have been inspired this week by my party planning board on pinterest. AJ's party was yesterday and I found having all of my ideas in one spot made me much more inspired to actually follow through on those projects!

I often read this blog when I feel like my day is just sucky or things are not going my way. This woman I have met in passing and you would never know that she is dealing with the loss of her son at only the age of 7. She is truly inspiring to me and I thought I would share. I dont have a cute crafty website or a new shoe that I am dieing to have to share that inspires me. Just this one. It might be a little gloomy, a little sad but It just makes me be in the moment with my two little ones and help me be a better picture taker/ scrapbooker because I want to remember every moments of my two little ones! The marathon scrap would be amazing to be a part of :)
