Sponsor Giveaways | The Mother Load, Summer Card Camp 2011
GIVEAWAY | One person will receive a spot in Lain Ehmann's upcoming 13-week online class at Big Picture Classes: The Mother LOAD: A Scrapbook Marathon
SPECIAL OFFER | In addition to receive $20 off of The Mother LOAD use code: load2011
Are you a marathon scrapbooker? Do you want to be? As crazy as it may sound, scrapbookers have a lot in common with runners. Both can run into the same problems – lack of time, isolation, a routine that has become more of a drudgery than a help. The good news? You can easily overcome these obstacles.
No, Lain won’t make you run 26.2 miles in just a few hours – but she will challenge you to scrapbook 26 layouts in 26 days! Through The Mother LOAD - A Scrapbook Marathon, part of the 4Experts series for 2011, Lain will show you how committing to making scrapbooking a priority in your life will help you:
- Scrapbook faster
- Love your pages more
- Actually USE your stash
- Connect with what you love best about this hobby of ours
The first two months of class will be spent on “basic training” to increase your stamina, refine your process, and get you mentally and physically ready for the ultimate challenge: creating a layout a day for the first 26 days of September. After you cross the finish line, there will be time for reflection – and celebration!
For more information, and to register, please visit The Mother LOAD.

I am so inspired by my friend Susan! She and her husband and their 13 year old daughter participated in the Edinburgh Moonwalk for breast cancer. Together they raised over 900 pounds - about $1,500! http://www.walkthewalk.org/Challenges/TheMoonWalkEdinburgh

The scrapbooking marathon is defenitely what I need right now! I was inspired this week by so many wonderful blogs. Each day I find creative inspiration for my scrapbooks as well as wonderful projects to make my house a home...now if someone could just inspire me to stop finding the inspriation and actually work on my own projects that would be wonderful!

Both classes sound inspiring!! I would really love to take Kristina's and Jennifer's classes.. I admire both of them so much.
As for what inspired me this past week, on Tuesday, I was able to see my oldest daughter for a while!! It was way too short a visit, but she bought me my Mother's Day present, LawnFawn's Plus One set!! A lot of her friends are having babies, so it'll be perfect for me to make cards for her to give to her friends :)

Lately I've mostly been inspired by you, Ali. I'm always checking out your site for something to inspire my scrapbooking. The other day it was the scrapbook you had made for your daughter. It had me looking at my son's school scrapbook in a whole new way. Thanks!

Both classes sound great! So many of the blogs I read, including yours, give me inspiration. But since we're supposed to share a link, here's a link to a card that I pinned recently from Julee Tillman's Poetic Artistry blog: http://pinterest.com/pin/14228597/

I finished a scrapbook for my daughter's kindergarten teacher, and it was inspiring to me watching people look at it. I was reminded that a couple photos and even a few words can be felt by the "rememberer," and it made me so proud that I did the book. We want to feel our memories again, especially the memories of an all-too-quick kindergarten year and a child that just one year ago was so different than today.

What awesome giveaways, both sound amazing! Thanks for a chance to win.
This week I've found tons of inspiration at http://thismamamakesstuff.com/. The projects on her site (more sewing) are free, easy to follow along, and pertain to boys. I've found so many things I want to do and have even found myself picking up the items I need to get them done. I can't wait until later this week when I have time to try them out.
