Ten Gift Ideas For The Memory Keeper Vol. 1

The holidays are fast approaching which means gift buying is in full force! Here are some fun ideas for your own wish list or for another memory keeper in your life:

  1. Instax Mini 50s | this is the small instant camera I use and love. See some examples here and here.

  2. Pinhole Press Personalized Memory Game | Anna would love this.

  3. Epson PictureMate Show Photo Printer | the 4x6 printer I use for all my Project Life photos. Love it.

  4. One line A Day | I've used this on and off this year and love the simple, small space to write each day.

  5. My Prudent Advice: Lessons for my Daughter by Jaime Morrison Curtis | Love.

  6. Polaroid Z340 Instant Camera (Prints 3x4 Images--perfect for Project Life!) | Hoping to have this under my tree - probably from me to me.

  7. Memory Keepers By Paper Coterie | Still loving the two boxes I did last year.

  8. Instagram Pictures to Canvas art via Canvas pop (Links right up with your Instagram account). | On my list to try.

  9. Making and Impression: Designing and Crafting Artful Stamps by Geninne Zlatkis

  10. Journal It!: Perspectives in Creative Journaling by Jenny Doh

Happy Gifting!

Does the picture mate work with Bluetooth in your iPhone?

Hmmm. Interesting note about the picture mate. My biggest challenge this year with Project life is that I shoot a lot of Hipstamatic pics so they come out square. Does the picture mate print square format too? or would I have to paste into a 4x6 document and then cut? If so, is it easy? I'm looking for better options for 2013 so I don't fall so far behind.

Awesome list, Ali! Some of these will definitely find their way onto my Christmas list. I have a question regarding the Epson Picturemate...do you find you use less ink printing your 4x6 prints from that printer vs your Epson R2000?

What a great list! We've heard of Oprah's favorite things - this is Ali's favorite things! Very interested in the Instant Cameras. QUESTION: Which film did you prefer? Is there a wait time on drying for either? Thanks for sharing.

Awesome list! I was just looking into a 4x6 printer for project life.I do have a couple of questions... Does this one print a true 4X6? Do you use the glossy or matte paper and if you have used both which do you prefer? Thanks for all the great ideas!

Great post! I'm excited to try some of these! The memory game is my favorite-- such a fun family gift. Have you heard of Bumblejax? They're similar to Canvaspop but they mount photos on gator board, acrylic, aluminum and bamboo. They're a bit pricey, but really high quality. You should check'em out for your next project: http://www.bumblejax.com/

As a surprise for me, my husband printed one of his Instagram photos on canvas with Canvas Pop. It turned out beautifully! I would highly recommend it.

Love all of the suggestions. I'm putting the Epson PictureMate Photo Printer, the One Line a Day, and the Journal It!: Perspectives in Creative Journaling on my list. Thanks for the links, I have them bookmarked. The Perspectives in Creative Journaling might be a good gift for my Scrapbooking friends.

Great list! At your recommendation (from last year) I recently created Memory Keepers from Paper Coterie for my children.
    LOVE IT!
With several expectant-mom friends I'm thinking it may be a fun "Baby's 1st Birthday" gift. Thanks again for the wonderful review of the Memory Keepers last year -especially the pictures showing the depth and height of the box -that's what sold me on it!
