Clear Scraps Giveaway

Clearscraps

Today's giveaway is sponsored by Clear Scraps. They recently generously donated some product for an upcoming benefit class/make + take I am doing in Southern Oregon. These are my four favorite products in their clear mini-book line-up:

6x6 Tab Album (5 pages, 3 ring)

All Mixed-Up (6 pages, 3 ring)

Scalloped Square Album (5 pages, 3 ring)

8x8 Tab Album (5 pages, 3 ring)

Here's a recent minibook I did that was featured in my Studio A column in the August issue of Creating Keepsakes magazine using the Scalloped Square Album:

Easter1

Notice the square punch + corner rounder again?

Easter2

For this album I used paint as an adhesive. I ran the outer edges of the squares through some paint and laid them down onto the acrylic. It definitely smears as you push it down, but that was part of the fun. I used much more paint on the transparent pieces and less on the photos (the photos are backed with other photos allowing me to adhere them to the acrylic album).

Easter3

Easter4

[ supplies : album: Clear Scraps; transparencies: Hambly Studios; paint and tiny alpha letter stickers: Making Memories, "the easter egg is pretty:" vintage ]

I have two sets of these four albums to giveaway. To be entered into the drawing leave a comment below and let me know what layout/project have you been putting off and why. Comments will be closed today (Thursday) at 5pm Pacific and the winners announced shortly after.

I've been putting off high school graduation layouts for my twins - it's only been 1 1/2 years. It's such a big accomplishment and a turning point.

I've been putting off my Halloween album. The photos just aren't speaking to me. I need to focus more on the process, I think. I love the creating and sewing part, but that doesn't come through in the "finished product" photos.

Ive been putting off 2 things. One: my youngest's birthday album. I've finished the two oldests' and I'm just tired of scrapping b-day photos. At least he is only 4 and I've been scrapping since before he was born, so I have better pictures and written down details. The second is my two oldests' school albums. One is in 9th and one in 7th. I can even begin to think about organizing photos, report cards and art work! Cool albums! Thanks Ali!

I've got a truckload of Disney pictures from last year waiting to be made into an album. I promised I'd get them done before our next trip, and that is only 3 weeks away. It's overwhelming to start a big project like that.
Thank for the opportunity to win, Ali!

I have been putting off starting a mini-album about my mom. She passed away a bit over a year ago. It was a week before my second daughter and I guess at the time, I was too caught up in everything to put pen to paper. Now - I'm not sure why I still haven't started it. I suppose it is just that it makes it feel final. And I'm not ready for that yet.

I love the paint idea on this album--always looking for other ways to attach to the acrylic albums!! I have put off my mdd college grad pictures cuz I know I will have so many less pictures of her now and I don't want to be "done" scrapping her face!!

I have been putting off scrapping our family's cross country trip. I have so many ideas, but also want to work on consistency throughout the album. I know you said "layout", so I'm probably disqualified, but that is the project nagging me right now.

I've definitely been putting off scrapping some concert photos I have from this summer. It's hard to make them stand out when they're mostly black! Thanks for doing another great giveaway. :)

I have been putting off a cub scouts album for my 8 year old. I also shy away from non-traditional scrapbooking. This would help me take the plunge:)

I keep putting off doing what few pictures I have of me as a child because I'm always working on something more current. It's hard to get motivated to go back so many years (I'm 46).

For whatever reason I have put off creating a mini-album of my kids in their Halloween costumes. I think the main reason I have put this off is because I don't have a the photos printed and I just never think about printing them to get it started. Every fall as we get close to Halloween, I think of it again. Maybe this year, I will actually get it done...especially if I win some clear albums!!

What cute albums! I have been putting off my daughter's 1st year album. She is the second baby, probably the last baby, and it is bittersweet....

I've been putting off working on an album about my mother. I have all the pictures, and most of the supplies I want to use, but, the motivation to actually do it, is hard to come by....the pain of her passing away is still too painful.

My boys (4 & 6 years old) baby albumns. I think because they are going to be special in my mind so I don't want to half-ass it. I think I'm going to use Becky's kit for them. Thank you for the contest.
