Week in the Life : sharing samples + giveaway

Hoping to have some embellished rectangles to share with you tomorrow. In the meantime I have been getting a bunch of different samples from people participating this week. I love to see the variety and how everyone is making it work for themselves, their story, their photos, their time.

Feel free to keep sending them my way as you get a chance to work on your album/layout/project. See below for today's giveaway.

Also, I answered most questions in the comments section yesterday. If you asked a question check there for your answer.

Best part about today takes a little explaining. A good friend of mine is in the hospital - critically ill. He has bacterial meningitis. He has been under sedation and on a ventilator since Monday. Found out today that they are going to try and wake him up tomorrow and see how he does. A little progress goes a long way!

You and your blog are always such an inspiration. Love the daily/week mini. The best thing about my day (so far) is joining my first grader for lunch at school today in celebration of one whole month with no "red lights" (disciplinary tool of choice) at school! So nice to meet her friends and spend time with her during school hours! Thanks for the chance to win!

Something good about today? For lunch I went to Beach Pit BBQ with friends from work - delicious! Worth scrapping as an event :) Had a great time taking the photos last week. Now comes the hard part!

ONE good thing about today is that I get to go home to a new desk! My Expedit came in last night before I left for a CTMH show and when I came home 3 hours later, it was put together! How sweet is my DH!

One of the things I learned from your Week in the Life project was how "full" my life is (sometimes I forget this as a mother of 2 preschool boys. And one of the good (great) things about today is the time I shared with my friend Osiris (also a mother of a preschooler).

Several good things today. My husband left a surprise lunch for me when I got home from work and since my birthday is tomorrow someone brought me an incredible brownie at work. Its a beautiful fall day and that itself is fabulous.

I love this project. I was going to do it last week and then got sidetracked, so I was going to just do "a day in my life". However, after seeing your photos from last week and all the cool layout designs from yourself and everyone, I picked up my camera this morning and plan to do the same for the next 6 days. Looking forward to it!

Hi Ali! Something good about today is having time to sit and have a coffee and check out some blogs! I don't get heaps of time to do this, so when I do I love it.
    Thanks

Today was special. I was told I was beautiful by three different people, at different times!I think it still counts if they are only 5.

The best thing about today is that I get to play with my 2 year old granddaughter while her mom catches some sleep after working all night at the hospital (she's a nurse). Her imagination, her words, her hugs and her laughter make any day marvelous!!
I too have to finish my Design Your Life pages and then I'm going to create my LOs for these pictures. It's been a great beginning to this project. Thanks for all your encouragement and inspiration, Ali!!

The best part about today is that I only teach a half day today. So the other half I get to spend with my four year old and of course reading your wonderful blog and becoming more inspired to finish my own weekly project. Keep the wonderful projects coming.
