Week in the Life : sharing samples + giveaway

Hoping to have some embellished rectangles to share with you tomorrow. In the meantime I have been getting a bunch of different samples from people participating this week. I love to see the variety and how everyone is making it work for themselves, their story, their photos, their time.

Feel free to keep sending them my way as you get a chance to work on your album/layout/project. See below for today's giveaway.

Also, I answered most questions in the comments section yesterday. If you asked a question check there for your answer.

These layouts are great! I love looking at all these creative books.
Today is a gorgeous day in N. Calif.; sunny, mild, very light whisper of breeze every so often. I call this "convertible weather" and I'm grateful for it because it won't last too much longer. And I'm also grateful for my computer problems, (believe it or not) because without them I would never have stepped outside to take that half-hour breather of reading and just relaxing.

I ran my first marathon on Sunday, and the best thing about today is that my legs are feeling less sore and it's easier to go up and down the stairs! Oh, and it's a stunningly beautiful fall day!

My something-good-today is that we all slept in today. No one awake before 8am. Such simple bliss.

You and your blog are always such an inspiration. Love the daily/week mini. The best thing about my day (so far) is joining my first grader for lunch at school today in celebration of one whole month with no "red lights" (disciplinary tool of choice) at school! So nice to meet her friends and spend time with her during school hours! Thanks for the chance to win!

    Hi Ali,
I'm not sure if 5pm on Wednesday has been and gone in your part of the world. It's Thursday morning here in New Zealand and a good thing that happened today was catching up with my best friend over in the UK for a quick online chat and realising that I will be seeing her again in little over a year (for my wedding!). Love the Week in the Life project - haven't started taking photos yet but I do plan to have a go!
    Thanks, Katie

Good things that have happened today; 1. Received a phonecall from Australia (I live in England) to hear that my parents had arrived safe and sound. 2. Finally ordered my photos on-line for my 'week in the life' project. Thank goodness, so looking forward to putting it all together now that I have worked out a scheme!

Thanks for all the wonderful examples! Today my husband is working nights which means he got to spend the morning with us - storytime with the kids, stopping by the nursery, and a picnic lunch in the backyard.

The good thing about today is that I actually had a dinner plan, I left work on time, was able to make dinner and have it in the oven already! Love those days when I actually feel a little bit organized!

Ah, today: Waking to sunshine & pelicans on the rocks at Depoe Bay, great friend squeezing fresh oranges for juice, hot coffee with cream, catching a glimpse of spray that looks like a whale spouting, calling over friends & finding out they ARE whales!!! & watching this pod of whales & catching glimpses of their massive backs with binoculars!! then a safe ride home where we have a leaky pipe under the house (luckily discovered the hour before we left 2 days ago so we could shut off our water) & finding out it's not that bad and could be a somewhat easy fix! Thanks Ali for the fun!

My 4 month old rolled over. It wasn't the first time, or the second... maybe the 15th. All I can say is that it never gets old. :)
