Gina has been hand-lettering for 16 years. She sells her custom
stationery through retail stationery stores across the country; the "Katie Return Address"

What is making me happy right now?
My boys getting excited about the little things in life. I love how happy they get when a friend makes them a card or when someone tells them that they did a good job. I am happy that they laugh a lot everyday!

Sitting here, drinking coffee, looking at your beautiful family and thinking about how my life is about to change dramatically. My husband and I are proposing a major move next year.(Like moving from MO to CA type major) It will change everything, but sometimes change is good and we are ready for it. That's what makes me happy.

Today, I am super happy to have my little boy (4 month old) taking his morning nap without crying and smiling at me when waking up. migth sound a little silly, but naps are a big issue with this little one, and this was just so cool!

There are so many things making me happy! But I'll choose just one for this post: being part of Lain Ehmann's Layout A Day challenge. I love being kept on my creative toes, getting the practice of creating every single day, pushing myself to find inspiration when it's not right there. Really happy to be getting pages done, too.

I've been surprised lately by how overwhelmed with happiness and love I can become just looking at my daughter. Even moments after she does something that makes me want to sell her to the circus I'll just feel this rush of love that amazes me still after nearly 3 years.

I am happy about being a mom to a great kid. He's been working hard in school and when I asked what special privilege he wanted for his efforts he said he just wanted to snuggle on the couch with me and watch a new movie. It doesn't get much better than that!
