Wednesday Sponsor Giveaways: Get It Scrapped, Lettergirl, and Scarlet Lime

AJ102Promo

One person will receive an online class spot in Art Journaling 101 and another person will get a spot in Art Journaling 102 with Dina at Get It Scrapped.

Are there are times when photos and journaling on a traditional scrapbook page don’t convey all you’d like? Scrapbooker, mixed-media collage artist, and visual journaler Dina Wakley uses a line-upon-line approach in her online classes at Get It Scrapped! to teach even those who think they’re not artistic the craft of making Art Journal pages. Classes include downloadable pdf and video lessons.

In Art Journaling 102 Dina teaches you how to “amp” up your images, layers, and textures. Art Journaling 101 covers the basics of art and journaling techniques and includes a bonus Spray Ink tutorial.

Whats making me happy right now...
My husband has the day off, I'm just back from getting my hair cut and my daughter and I had a hot chocolate and gingerbread lady whilst we were in town. I picked up some cellophane bags to "wrap" gifts...AND I got a cheque in the mail...a tiny tax rebate. So I guess I've plenty to be happy about today. Winning would be the icing on the cake.
Thank you for the chance to enter your drawing Ali, and for making time to blog with a newborn :)

I love that I can email and webcam with my hubby that's deployed. Nothing gets better than that! Ok... and that I got a new full keyboard cell phone yesterday...

Today is the 100th day of school. This is one of my favorite days. I provide the kids with a 100th day breakfast which makes them all soo happy which in turn makes me happy. The breakfast includes a sausage link (1) and 2 donuts (00) put it together and you get 100. All smiles!

Flavored coffee. My husband recently lost his job and so I have had to stop my Starbucks addiction cold turkey. I discovered with flavored coffee and some flavored creamer and a little milk, I can mix up a darn good imitation. Whew!

My daughters playing somewhat peacefully right now is making me happy. Too bad their playing usually involves the 23 month old teaching the 10 month old bad tricks!
Your daughter is beautiful and congrats.

Right now I am happy that I have completed a couple of projects that have been sitting around waiting for me for a few months.
Particularly one that I had started at Creative Escape that I could not do at the event as I had no pictures with me. Love it now that it is finally done.

I finally live close to my family, so I was able to go watch my nephew's cub scout award banquet last night. I am looking at the pictures right now, and I am thinking: I am so lucky to see him as he grows up!

The thing that's making me most happy right this very minute is my 6 month old little boy, Carter, sitting next to me in his bouncy chair just watching me on the computer and kicking his chubby little legs with all of his might...sooo cute!!

Happy that I have been successful in already completing 4 quilts for a fundraiser we are starting in April for our son's service dog through National Service Dogs in Ontario, Canada. The service dogs are especially for children with autism. We can't wait to have a pet in our home to help Brody and also add to our family numbers. Happy to be so ahead of schedule.
Happy that you always have such amazing giveaways.
    Thanks

I finally took some time yesterday to finish and print several digital layouts. It feels so good to have new stories for my scrapbooks and it makes me happy to look at pictures of my kids from a few years ago. They are growing fast!

My little girl (who just turned 2) is making me happy right now. Whenever she wakes up she goes straight to the kitchen (coz she knows that's where she'll find me) and gives me a very sweet smile while saying "Hi mommy!".
