Wednesday Sponsor Giveaways: Get It Scrapped, Lettergirl, and Scarlet Lime
One person will receive an online class spot in Art Journaling 101 and another person will get a spot in Art Journaling 102 with Dina at Get It Scrapped.
Are there are times when photos and journaling on a traditional scrapbook page don’t convey all you’d like? Scrapbooker, mixed-media collage artist, and visual journaler Dina Wakley uses a line-upon-line approach in her online classes at Get It Scrapped! to teach even those who think they’re not artistic the craft of making Art Journal pages. Classes include downloadable pdf and video lessons.
In Art Journaling 102 Dina teaches you how to “amp” up your images, layers, and textures. Art Journaling 101 covers the basics of art and journaling techniques and includes a bonus Spray Ink tutorial.
One person will receive a Katie Return Address Stamp (choice of rubber or self-inking) from Lettergirl.
Gina has been hand-lettering for 16 years. She sells her custom
stationery through retail stationery stores across the country; the "Katie Return Address"
design is an etsy exclusive.
One person will receive Scarlet Lime's bright and cheerful February kit. You can read more about Scarlet Lime here.
To be entered into the drawing today leave a comment letting me know something that is making you happy right now. Comments will be closed at 8pm this evening with the winners posted shortly after.

I'm very happy because the school book fair that I co-chaired last week did well and made a lot of money for the school library. Additionally there were some really tear-jerking moments of kids' generosity all week long. It was really amazing. Kids are wonderful!

The weather forecast for the weekend is making me happy right now. We have a sunday school picnic planned after church on Sunday and it's supposed to be in the upper 70s here in Phoenix. Woo hoo!

What an incredible give-away!
Hope you are slowly finding your rythm and what a beautiful photo of daughter and father in the previous post...
What makes me happy now is that my little boy is really enjoying cuddles now and gives them spontaneously (which has not been really like that in these first 3 years of his little life) I love it how he'll suddenly look at me straight in the eyes and stroke my cheek with his little hand and say "you are my sweetest boy mommy" (Guess whom he gets that from LOL)

I am happy that my father is being a good fighter. Just got off the phone with him. He has a surgery planned for tomorrow. He has lung canger. He is FINE. There is no worry in his voice...taking it one day at at a time. Today's plans: To bring the little munchins (my twin daughters) to see him tonight so that he keeps up his spirit. This is GOOD. Right now, I am happy.

Something that is making me happy right now is the thought that I may finally be pregnant. We have been trying for awhile now and I really think that this is our lucky month.

What is making me happy is watching my 13-month-old son learning to communicate through gestures and "words." We went to a hockey game on Sunday night, and he was looking at the rink and talking, as though he were cheering the team on. So cute!

Right now I am making a mini album - "2008". I'm using the bind-it-all (V2) that I got for my b'day. First time I've ever used one and I love it!

I am finding I have learned to be happy with where I am in life-- No need to wish for the future and things that WILL happen, but just to be happy HERE and NOW!

What makes me happy right now is watching my daughter reconnect with her grandparents, who have recently moved back home near us; it is great to see them every weekend instead of a few times a year.
