Gina has been hand-lettering for 16 years. She sells her custom
stationery through retail stationery stores across the country; the "Katie Return Address"
design is an etsy exclusive.

Happy?? I'm super excited, just found out my parents are coming up for a visit this weekend. They live 9 hours away so it is precious time for my kids to get to spend a few days with Mimi and Papa! That is what makes me happy right now...

having moved to northern Michigan, where it is currently snowing, makes me happy (though lots of other things do, too!), especially when the local elk come and sit in my "backyard", where I can see them!

It snowed 18 inches yesterday. That does not make me happy. What makes me happy is that all my family is home and safe. And that is with 3 drivers ages 17-22!

The fact that I have finally commited to joining the Weekend to End Breast Cancer in August. It is a two day 60km walk to raise funds for breast cancer research. I start my 24 week training next week!

I'm watching two dogs sleep peacefully next to each other. One dog is my beloved dog and the other one belongs to my brother. He is being deployed again for one year and brought her to our home to care for. I am so happy that they have become friends and are adjusting well. It makes a difficult situation just a little bit easier. And I've got to be honest...the kids are back in school today and that is also making me a very happy and peaceful mom right now!

Watching my son become a man is making me happy right now. He turned 16 in october and still seemed a boy to me...but in the past few weeks he has made some surprisingly mature decisions about his future and offered a really insightful look at relationships. I am very proud of him.
