Lately I have been working on ideas/ plans/ gathering information to open my own daycare. Right now I am working as a nanny, and I know I won't have the funds saved up and everything planned for a year or two, but it is a dream I am very excited about! That, and learning how to grow food and can it.

I'm doing a 250-challenge: to only buy basic scrapbookingsupplies like tape and cardstock and use up all the stuff that has accumulated over the years untill I have finished 250 lo's or the equivalent in cards or mini-albums. But receiving new stuff isn't against the rules I've set for myself ;-)

I have been working on a memory quilt for our church. It has taken a lot of my time but the end is in sight! Then I can get back to stamping and scraping.

I have had chronic illnesses for the past few years, so just trying to keep my head above water while caring for my son. NOW-though, I am so much better, and have been cleaning junk out of all of my cabinets and closets. Feels so good to get rid of years'-worth-of-backlog. :)

I've been working on being healthier--more exercise, water, healthier eating choices. I've also been working on finishing up things. Not as fun as starting new things--but rewarding when done!

I've been working on a routine with my twins. It's tough. One just got sick, so I felt like all the work I did went out the window as his routine is completely gone (and my sleep too!) But, I'm back to getting everyone in the groove again and I actually had an hour last night to create. I can't tell you how good that felt for my soul!

CHANGE has been happening lately. Change from the inside that is showing in my creative endeavors. I've been painting and or scrapbooking everyday for the past week. I can't get enough. Here's a thought that has really influenced my thought process lately: Comparison is the thief of our JOY! I stopped comparing myself and my work to everyone else and embraced my own unique style! Thanks for your inspirational blog!

Scrapbooking wise, I have been working on an album for my daughter's 4th birthday on Monday. It talks about all the nick names she has acquired in the past four years. I got the idea when you were talking about Anna's nick names :) Great giveaways and happy Wednesday!

I haven't been working on any specific projects lately. I have been trying to organize my scrap space (a corner in my bedroom). The main thing that I have been working on lately is strengthening our family. Less tv, less wii, less outside influences, more love, and more laughter. It's been nice.
