Being caught up with my own pictures, I just started rescuing my husband's baby pics from those horrid old albums and turning them in to nice 8.5X11 pages. It will be an undertaking, for sure! But, in the process, I'm rediscovering the man I fell in love with 10 years ago - it's fun to retell his story from the beginning and get a sense of what made him into the man I'm so madly in love with today. It's something I didn't expect to have happen, but it's a great surprise!

I've been making 350 'bath tea' packets to be used as table favors for a ladies' event at church. The theme is 'soul spa' so I suggested these little favors.

I have slipped lately, but hope to get started working soon on scanning all of my grandfather's love letters to my grandmother. I have bundles and bundles of them that were sent during his time overseas in WWII (she was pregnant with their first child at the time--my aunt). The goal is to get them all scanned and collect a good portion of them into a book for my mom and aunt. Maybe in time for Christmas this year? Keeping my fingers crossed! :)

I've been making so many birthday gifts!! My kids are constantly bringing home invitations, and I really believe that a homemade gift is so much fun, so that's what I've been doing.

I've been working on simplifying my life and house and scrapbooking. I've been purging things that are just clutter. I'm already starting to feel "free" again and the creativity starting to flow again.

St. Patrick's was my 19th wedding aniversary. I have been working on an album for my husband that showed him how he changed my life. He adopted both my daughters, so his commitment wasn't just to me.I really wanted to convey what a wonderful life he has given us. Putting that in words has been a challenge and I am not finished with the album yet.

I've been working more on me as a person vs. craft lately. Don't get me wrong, I totally miss the crafting! I look at it as investing in myself in order to be able to make MORE time for crafty goodness down the road. I have a couple of albums waiting for me to pick up again and finish (including my Dec. Daily!).

I have been going through all of my scrapbook stuff and organizing it. It feels so good! Now I can go "shopping" in my own supplies and feel like I've found some new stuff! I'm looking at some things differently, now that they are organized with different things. I'm looking forward to being more efficient with my craft.

I made a page to jot down some short things I did in March. I used a date stamp to stamp random dates on the page, and now I'm filling that out as the days go by. I'll add a few pictures when the page is done.

I have been working on baking. I'm in a baking mode of trying new things, using decorator tips and making lots of pretty cookies. Just another art form I suppose! I'm ready to get inspired and get back to paper and glue! Happy day!
