I Scrapbook
To celebrate relationships.
And everyday moments.
To remember minutes that pass by in an instant.
And what it was like when it was just three of us.
To capture stuff like this.
And this.
And this.
And this.
And this.
To tell my story.
And his.
And his.
And hers.
And ours.
To pay closer attention to everyday life.
To create and play and experiment.
To embrace life.
[ The above was adapted from my Keynote presentation at CKU's in 2008 ]

oh oh, one more thing . . . I am sooooooo looking forward to seeing what's going on with the school stuff/organizing!! This past weekend, after being inspired by you, I set up the card table in our bedroom, dug out the BOXES of school stuff and at least began the sort . . . got lots of piles and a pretty large "recycle" pile, too. Hoping to see more inspiration on that soon! (As if you have nothing else to work on! hahahaha!) . . . have a wonderful weekend.

Ali,
Thank you so much for helping me out.. I have been wondering about what I am doing and why I am doing it.. this is why...
thanks..
also, I don't know if you have heard the song yet, but I have one to suggest to you... "The Climb" by Miley Cyrus (I have a 6 year old) but this song is the most beautiful thing I have ever heard. While it is about realizing that it isn't the prize at the end of doing something great, it is about the climb, the struggles that you will face getting there.. it's a truly great song, one with alot of feeling and heart, but especially touched me for kids who faced struggles in dealing with the everyday challenges of life.. inspiring..
just thought it was worth mentioning..
you inspire me practically everyday to move the proverbal mountain of scrap book block.. thanks so much..
