I loved the tradition our family had of always buying new outfits for the first day of school. There was so much excitement surrounding that first day; seeing how everyone changed from the previous year, getting together with old friends, and seeing who your teachers are going to be.

There's a certain smell of chalk dust and chocolate milk that still lingers in my old elementary school building.

I am a guilt-driven person. Unfortunately, my "hobbie" has turned into a constant curse and burden of where to begin, how to finish, if I ever will! When I saw your booth at the Scrapbook Expo in Sandy, I felt the guilt vanish and my new-found love for an old hobby was a refreshing energy!!! THANK YOU!!!! THANK YOU!!!! THANK YOU!!!! THANK YOU!!!! I always loved projects. Each kid made a notebook about our state in fourth grade and it took several weeks to complete it. Looking back, it could be considered a scrapboook...no wonder I loved working on it!

I LOVED (& still do) school activities! Festivals, parties, special dress up days, class activities, Homecoming Week, etc..... I loved it so much, that I pursued student life activities in college & became a student leadership director at the college level! I'm now happy to say that I work at my daughters school (a K3-12th grade school) where a BIG part of my job is planning ACTIVITIES!! There is so much to learn outside the classroom too!! I would LOVE to document some fun activities with these beautiful products :)

I loved school supplies, especially new notebooks. The potential of filling it up was always exciting. I still use them today for journaling , but of course I alter the covers. Nothing like putting a pen or pencil to a fresh sheet in your notebook !

I loved the first day! My mom bought me a HUGE Otis Spunkmier muffin every year :) Yumm-o! Sure beats poptarts!
Sadly, I also loved how the death of one of our classmates brought us all together. It made us- even in jr high- realize how fragile life is.
Thanks for the chance to win!
