"How was your flight?"
This morning, as Simon enjoyed his bagel & cream cheese in the company of his sweet cousin Gabrielle, he asked, "How was your flight?"
My sister & Gabrielle (who is just a month younger than Anna) arrived last night from the East coast. So happy to have them here for Halloween.
My sister is a bit of a secret keeper when it comes to costumes so I'm not sure what she's got up her sleeves just yet. For the first time in I-don't-know-how-long I've also got a costume planned. I think I'll keep that a secret too until we get some photos on Halloween. Our new neighborhood is supposed to be Halloween-central so I'm all jazzed up about the prospects to actually have some kids knock on our door.
After Simon headed off to school Jessica and I took the girls out on an adventure to Costco and Trader Joes.
It was a really good morning. Lots of stuff checked off my list home-wise. Even better to have great company along for the ride.
Aaaaw... such little angels sleeping so peacefully. Gotta love that. ^j^

We live in the woods---so no trick-or-treaters for us---I guess they think it's tooooooooo scary!

I just adore the photo of the sleeping girls. I'm excited for you in your new neighborhood. Lots of good activity in a neighborhood makes it so much fun. Ours use to be that way. But people have moved and it's not the same. Have a safe and wonderful time Ali. Thanks for all you share on your website.

I LOVE Trader Joe's! Wish I had one near me in Beaver County, PA.

Ali, I've been a reader of your blog since Simon was a tot. I remember so many postings of his early achievements like getting dressed without having a meltdown or going off to school without tears. Seems he's grown into quite a young man now. I know you spent many hours helping that happen. I'm so happy to follow along in this success story of both him and your business.

Hey Ali, thanks for the free Halloween print outs. I put them to go use making a banner. :)

Hi Ali,
I have become a real big fan of your (like the other millions of people out there) an you inspire me everyday, thanks :)
I have a blooger on blobspot which I started a year ago and have really only come back to these last few days.
I really love how you blog your family life and your creations and I would really like to get mine more out there in cyber land.
A few questions I'd like to ask, if its ok..
1: How did you start off. Iv'e been reading some of your entries, but not yet your early ones. Were you just a mum who decided one day to start bloging? Have you done any degrees in anything that helped you along. And how did you get so big?
2: Do you worry about people out there knowing your personal family life? How do you draw the line where sharing still keeps you safe?
3: what tips do you have in getting more people following me on my blogger.
I hope you don;t mind me asking these.....
thank you
