Sponsor Giveaway | Mary Ann Moss

GIVEAWAY | Three people will receive spots in Mary Ann Moss's online class Remains Of The Day.

Remains Of The Day is the antidote for all of those paper scraps that keep multiplying in your favorite scrap box and clogging up your artistic super highway. In this process AND project oriented class we’ll be constructing a shabby but sturdy journal (like this one) using all of that paper you’ve been hoarding. Ordinary life never looked better than seen through the pages of this stitched up journal of scraps.

i tend to do most of my cleaning in the evening when i get home from work, but i find that cleaning first thing in the morning, especially the bathroom and kitchen, tends to show those places and corners that normally get missed. but with the fresh new light of day, everything is revealed - whether i like it or not. (ps - i've been eyeing this class for a long time now and have gathered papers to make one. how sad is that !)

Opening the windows & letting in the fresh air always gets me in a cleaning mood. I actually went through my closet today & am donating a few bags of clothes. My tip for deciding what to keep/donate? I take each item and think "if I had to hurry up and get dressed, would I choose this?" If the answer is 'no,' it's got to go!

Hmmm...if I had a spring cleaning tip, my house wouldn't be such a mess!!! I guess my tip would be to sort things into piles -- keep, toss, donate...then make sure you take the donate pile to Goodwill, Salvation Army, or another charity that can use the goods...don't leave the boxes/bags laying around the house! Thanks for the opportunity to win!

A favorite Spring cleaning tip seems to be an oxymoron...I do appreciate the results after getting rid of things not used for the last year. However, the actual process is a sheer act of determination to complete the purging process.

What a delightful blogger is Mary Ann Moss. I would love to meet her and see her world.
Now, for Spring cleaning----just open your doors and windows on a windy day and let Mother Nature do all of the cleaning. Ah, and everything will smell so fresh.

I'm not much of one for spring cleaning but I do find that I get more motivated to clean if I have spiffy new cleaning products to play with. I like trying out new stuff from Method and with scents like grapefruit and mint it's almost a pleasure to clean. Almost.

I love Peter Walsh, he was on Clean Sweep on TLC. When cleaning out your kitchen, dump contents of a drawer into a box. It you don't use it in a month, ditch it. Now I have nothing in my drawers and boxes everywhere. Thanks Peter! Happy Spring!

Looks like a fantastic class! I love a clean house but hate to clean! Do it a little at a time--it's not a one-time event but it's a process. It likely will never ALL be clean at once.

My favorite spring cleaning tip is "just do it!"
Each spring, I get the urge to clean, and try to follow through. Last year, it was the closet-getting rid of things I no longer wear. This year, it was the pantry. Feels so good to get it done!

What an inspiration this has been, just reading these comments. I've been a book artist for a while and the idea of these scrap books is very exciting.

My favorite cleaning tip is to open my windows and let the fresh air circulate through the house. Clean sheets, fresh air, and the scent of Mrs. Myers all through my house is heaven.

Oh, I've had my eye on this class. Would love to win a spot!

The best cleaning tip I've learned over the years is don't let the junk accumulated in the first place, and you won't have to spend hours or days cleaning it out.;)

I tell myself that I'm not really getting rid of stuff yet, just moving it to the garage. If I need it, I can always retrieve it.

I don't think about what's in the garage and after a month or two, I'm now ready to emotionally part with these things. Already boxed, off to the Goodwill they go!

Spring cleaning for me is all about getting rid of the unused and making space for anything new you may want or need. I usually start in one spot and then end up cleaning and destashing all over the place at the same time.

Fresh air and sunshine and fresh flowers in the house mean spring time to me. At the moment they mean autumn for me here in Australia as I am enjoying the last of the summer flowers and sunshine. Hope you had a good week of holidays Ali!

Starting in the kids rooms makes the rest of Spring cleaning easier. Toys and clothes that haven't been worn or played with in a year are then donated. This Spring I am cleaning out the scrapbook room as well. My daughter's Browne troop loved the extra paper and stickers for their craft stash!
    Thanks for another great giveaway!
