Sponsor Giveaways | The Mother Load, Summer Card Camp 2011

GIVEAWAY | One person will receive a spot in Lain Ehmann's upcoming 13-week online class at Big Picture Classes: The Mother LOAD: A Scrapbook Marathon

SPECIAL OFFER | In addition to receive $20 off of The Mother LOAD use code: load2011

Are you a marathon scrapbooker? Do you want to be? As crazy as it may sound, scrapbookers have a lot in common with runners. Both can run into the same problems – lack of time, isolation, a routine that has become more of a drudgery than a help. The good news? You can easily overcome these obstacles.

No, Lain won’t make you run 26.2 miles in just a few hours – but she will challenge you to scrapbook 26 layouts in 26 days! Through The Mother LOAD - A Scrapbook Marathon, part of the 4Experts series for 2011, Lain will show you how committing to making scrapbooking a priority in your life will help you:

  • Scrapbook faster

  • Love your pages more

  • Actually USE your stash

  • Connect with what you love best about this hobby of ours

The first two months of class will be spent on “basic training” to increase your stamina, refine your process, and get you mentally and physically ready for the ultimate challenge: creating a layout a day for the first 26 days of September. After you cross the finish line, there will be time for reflection – and celebration!

For more information, and to register, please visit The Mother LOAD.

I have been scrapbooking for at least 20 years in some way or another. Lately, I have been finding it difficult to carve out time to scrapbook with all of the kids various activities and 'life' in general. I got to talking with Christa and she really made me feel better about how/what/when I scrapbook. It doesn't have to be a 5 hour sitdown or chronological. Her advice is to do what you love, and when you feel inspired. Here is a link to a blog when she was a guest. Plus, she is participating in a LOAD right now and highly recommends them! Thanks so much for the opportunity to create!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE your giveaways!
I was inspired by this woman and her blog (http://fairycraftmama.blogspot.com/2010/12/project-life-2011.html). I've been desperately wanting to do PL since recently discovering it, but of course disappointed that its sold out! This lady is "making her own" and I love that idea to get me started until the new kits are out and available!

I was so inspired by your scrapbook on the road class that I completed the empty albumn in a day and took it to mexico with me last month. It is now complete! So fast and easy. Yipee - love the formula so much that I am going to use the same formula for a summer album that I am putting together right now! Thanks for the opportunity for a give away and have a wonderful summer day.

Both of these classes sound so inspiring. I love the idea of Basic training leading to a Marathon lay out session.
Yesterday, I was inspired by Ali's scrapbook on the road class and my 10 year old daughter. She encouraged me to take this class so we can document a trip together. Love it!

I was inspired this week by the funny things that our 3 toddlers say. I don't want to forget their very cute constructions as they learn to use language. I've been writing down snippets for a long time, and now want to scrapbook them along with photos to capture this special time. Would love to learn some strategies for speeding up the process of scrapbooking!

Funny that you should be the one to ask for an inspiring link when my link is one of yours! You inspired me to create an amazing baby book for my son. I just love yours and everything about it!
