Sponsor Giveaways | The Mother Load, Summer Card Camp 2011
GIVEAWAY | One person will receive a spot in Lain Ehmann's upcoming 13-week online class at Big Picture Classes: The Mother LOAD: A Scrapbook Marathon
SPECIAL OFFER | In addition to receive $20 off of The Mother LOAD use code: load2011
Are you a marathon scrapbooker? Do you want to be? As crazy as it may sound, scrapbookers have a lot in common with runners. Both can run into the same problems – lack of time, isolation, a routine that has become more of a drudgery than a help. The good news? You can easily overcome these obstacles.
No, Lain won’t make you run 26.2 miles in just a few hours – but she will challenge you to scrapbook 26 layouts in 26 days! Through The Mother LOAD - A Scrapbook Marathon, part of the 4Experts series for 2011, Lain will show you how committing to making scrapbooking a priority in your life will help you:
- Scrapbook faster
- Love your pages more
- Actually USE your stash
- Connect with what you love best about this hobby of ours
The first two months of class will be spent on “basic training” to increase your stamina, refine your process, and get you mentally and physically ready for the ultimate challenge: creating a layout a day for the first 26 days of September. After you cross the finish line, there will be time for reflection – and celebration!
For more information, and to register, please visit The Mother LOAD.

I don't have a link, but the one thing that truly inspired me this past week was my daughter- she bravely dealt with her broken arm, wrote tests at school nearly everyday, and turned 13 yesterday. She is amazing!

Inspired by lots of little things this week - not any one specific thing. I did however read a great book - The Art of Racing in the Rain by Garth Stein. It has been on my to read list for so long and I am happy I finally got to it.

I am taking the Finding Photo Freedom class and I'm sorting/purging photos from '97 when youngest was born. I keep finding awesome photos of the oldest just hugging, smiling and caring the world out of his new brother. Earlier in the week, they were doing their after-dinner skits. One said to the other " You are going to be my Best Man when I get married and of course I'm going to be yours, right?" "Of course, who else would it be?"I can't wait to do a bunch of pages on their relationship. They are my inspiration.

Hello, maybe it does not qualify me for the contest becaus eI do not have a lonk to share, but lately I have been inspired by my son (2.5 y old) who can spend so much time playing with so little: a rock, an empty box... Amazing and quite eyes opening when we are in a hobby so obsessed with new products and technics.

Fantastic giveaways! I'd love to win a spot in either of these two classes. Becky Higgins posted these wave images on a Facebook link, and I thought they were amazing:

I was inspired by this post on Shimelle.com (http://www.shimelle.com/paper/1075/10-things-june-2011/). I like the idea of scrapbooking about the same 10 things every month. I think this could end up to be a little treasure in the future. Thanks for an opportunity to win. Have a great weekend.

I would love to win the Mother LOAD because I am so so far behind in my girls scrapbooks. I would love the opportunity to be forced to finally get everything out and start working on them. I have been looking for inspiration to record my daughters birth story and found it in your documentation of Anna's birth story. I love it!!! It is a very discreet way to tell the story with out really showing it to everybody. Thanks!
