Supply Replenishment No.02
As we get back in gear around here (meaning I’m making more traditional layouts & completing Project Life® 2013) one of the things I thought would be fun is to share what products I’m purchasing from time to time.
Here's a look at the order I placed on National Scrapbook Day from Scrapbook.com:
Memory keeping products come my way from a combination of sources. Sometimes companies send me samples of their new products. Sometimes I will request specific products from companies when I have a particular use in mind (such as for a workshop). Sometimes I'm the one designing the products. And other times I order supplies from companies because I like the simplicity of picking and choosing and supporting both the online retailers and the manufacturers with my own money.
When I buy items from online retailers I don’t always have a project in mind. Most of the time I just see something I like (cool pattern, color, etc) or I’m restocking something I use regularly (adhesive, pens, etc).
My question to you today - when I do this kind of post do you like to have the supplies listed like we have them below or would you rather see a visual list like when I do supply lists on products (where you can see and then click on the products)? I'd love your feedback on that if you have a minute.
Here's a list of products from my recent order from Scrapbook.com that I'm showing in the video above:

I would love to see the visual list--that way I only have to click on the ones that interest me. I waste a lot of time clicking thru every link just to see if it's something that I might like.
I am a visual person but do not necessary like videos. So a visual collage like Elise Blaha does with "I love ..." posts would be great with the links underneath. here is the link to her "I love march" post
http://eliseblaha.typepad.com/golden/2013/03/i-love-march.html
I believe you used to do something similar with "three things ..." Loved this one you did in 2009 http://aliedwards.com/2009/05/three-things-may-favorites.html
By the way when you did your survey I forgot to add that I would love to see what happened to "Anna's album" I would love to see an overview how the baby album has grown and in that case a video while turning the pages would probably be the most practical way ... thank you for asking for our opinions and input

half the time I find that the pictures don't show up on the visual lists plus I find them to be an eyesore.

Because your blog is the first one I read each morning and I am in a place where I cannot view videos, I like the links to the products because I can click and go see. Sometimes I come back later in the evening and watch the videos you have posted.
Thank you for sharing posts like this. It's always fun to see what products others like to use and it often opens my eyes to products I didn't know about!

I am totally a visual....however with that being said, with the number of items listed, that would be a pain to create each time..I'm just happy you share.

I like a visual list just so I can match up the items in the video easier. But making a visual list will be more time consuming for you maybe? I'm just glad you share this type of post. Thanks!

I love the video and clickable list format. Thanks for sharing your goodies with us!
I agree with Sheila, the way you have this set up today is great! you get a visual, a video if you want (I for one love to hear what you are thinking of using the products for) and a list of links. Awesome! Thanks for sharing Ali!

Visual, honestly, I won't take the time to click on a list, but I would on a product photo :)

I like the videos best. The visual lists are great to keep my supply-only ADD in check since I don't get distracted. But no matter how good a job the online stores do in showing snapshots of the product, (or sometimes not), I get a much better idea of what things really look and "feel" like. And if it is you or other people talking about the products, you all talk about ideas for using them.

I prefer the visual list because it's easier to just click on the things that interest me most . . . but if it's a lot of extra work (or cost), I can just click links. :)

I'm a visual person. I would definitely click on a product if I see it.
