December Daily® 2016 | Day 20

Welcome to  December Daily® 2016 | Day 20.

Bringing in a little bit of Audrey's voice into the album today by including a drawing she put together and a photo of ornaments that she made while sitting in here with me in the office.

I'm going to start with the pages outside the album ( this one was hard to photograph because the image of her ornaments is already really light):

The structure of today's story includes the back of  Day 19. You might remember that yesterday I cut out tag templates to be able to use when I told my story today. I simply used patterns from the Main Kit and from the Pam Garrison Mini Kit (stars) for the tags. On top of the tags I added a red tinsel embossed chipboard 20 + the "celebrate this" chipboard messy circle

The second page includes a photo of ornaments that Audrey created (she drew pictures of dogs, cats and bunnies) which is adhered to a fold out drawing.

I used an  Avery Index Tab along the inside of her folded drawing. Her drawing includes stamps from the Jasmine Jones December Daily® Cozy Christmas set (she used the mittens, hat, and cup on the cat) and wood veneer trees from the Decor8 Mini Kit and the big gold star from Pam's Kit. It was so cool to see her so happy to be playing with those supplies.

You can see the process of building the fold out in today's video below. Basically I just folded her drawing and cropped my image and journaling to be able to fit on top of the folded portion.

how to you get that red tinsel to stay so bright and glittery when embossing. I bought that exact powder from my AC always turned out dull once I put the heat gun to it. tried to emboss with the red tinsel the other and the same thing happened. Turned out dull red and hardly glittery. argh!

This is really pretty. Audrey's drawings are awesome! Love that she used some stamps too. Very cool.

I'm so excited about the new inks! Can't wait for them!

After seeing this, my story is going to change. I am going to use my daughter's drawing as a centerpiece of a story rather than the memorabilia in the Remember envelope. I love the creativity!
