Go Vote. Today is a very big day here in the US. As many of you know, politics/government is a pretty big daily part of
life in my house. My husband, Chris, is unopposed in his seat in the Oregon
Legislature this time around which has made for quite a different
season than a couple years back when things were so very crazy right up until the last minute.
No matter who you are supporting this is your chance to have your voice heard.
I will be celebrating my 33rd birthday today as we watch and wait just a little bit longer.

Happy Birthday Ali. What a historic day to celebrate your special day. Thanks for your lovely blog and for sharing bits of your life. That picture of Simon from yesterday really got me. He is so grown up. I remember the first picture I saw of him in a CK magazine when he was probably not a year old. It seems I have watched him grow up in the scrap mag and then in your blog.

Happy Birthday/Election Day, Ali. So happy to hear Chris is unopposed this year and happy you were spared all the stress involved. Enjoy every minute of your day. Happy Birthday Ali. Today is my birthday as well (29 years old!). I love it when election day falls on my birhtday. I remember growing up I thought it was the coolest because there is such excitement in the air. Hope you enjoy your day!
