Three people will win a spot in Tracey Clark's upcoming class at Big Picture Scrapbooking called Picture Spring.

From Tracey: If someone would have told me what I know today, I’m not sure I would have believed them. That the dew of morning could be magic. That a brand new bud, longing to bloom could cause for celebration. That a cup of tea could whisper an enchanting tale. That what was on my cutting board could bring me back to center. That a dandelion could restore my hope. It’s as though the entire world around me has woken up as have I, as I look both inside myself and out and feel as if every blade of grass, every shard of light is a brand new muse.

It is all of these things that prompted me to create Picture Spring; my new online at Big Picture Scrapbooking. A 30 day soulful seasonal celebration of these muses and using our cameras to seek them out. For all the details on registration on how you can awaken your senses and your lens this spring, visit me over there. I’m giddy with what we’ll discover together.

Picture Spring is a 30-day guided e-class at Big Picture Scrapbooking that will encourage and inspire you to use photography to celebrate the season of new beginnings while honoring and nourishing your creative spirit. With a new email and fresh perspective in your inbox each morning, you'll use the daily photo prompt to help open your mind and guide your lens to see and capture your life and the world around you. Whether you are an expert photographer, or just starting out, this project will help you see things in a completely new light. Taught by Shutter Sisters founder Tracey Clark, Picture Spring will offer a warm, welcoming Shutter Sisteresque invitation to discover the season; camera in hand.

My current favorite photo is a photo of five pears on my counter. I was unpacking the produce from our weekly shopping trip when I discovered we have five pears, four peaches and three lemons. I was unpacking after my kids were asleep and I kept thinking how great it was that we have five, four and three of fruit. It'll be so much fun to count! My youngest son is four and very into counting things so I set the fruit up on the counter and took photos. The pears look soooo good!
Great giveaways, Ali!! Thanks for the chance to win!!

I am currently scrapbooking pictures from Christmas and my favorite picture is one with my two children and me sitting in a chair and being quite silly Christmas morning. Not a great picture technically but we too infrequently capture the silly moments like this.

My current favourite is a picture of my daughter taken by the incredibly talented Kirsty Wiseman which I have downloaded onto my Blackberry as my wallpaper. It's a picture of my daughter sitting in a pile of autumn leaves in a teal blue t shirt and I LOVE IT!! It captures her spirit, it makes me smile and the colour combination is dynamite. Thanks for the awesome giveaway Ali.

I have a picture of my two year old daughter hugging a tree, it is slightly over exposed but the sun is shinning just enough to light up her beautiful face. Her hair is glowing, her face looks to innocent. When I look at it I gasp she is growing up, so quick! I need to take more pictures to relive each memory of her.

My current favorite photo is from an impromptu family trip to a corn maze. In the middle of the maze, we used the timer to take a family portrait. The kids were in action and it's so us.

Right now I have a great photo of the Vancouver 2010 Olympic cauldron taken 1 day after the opening ceremony against a stormy backdrop. It reminds me of the great time I had participating as a volunteer in my home city.

My current favourite photo is one of my 11 year old daughter and I. Last year she went through major oral surgery and follow on orthodontics - well this recent photo shows how much all of these hard times are paying off as her teeth are looking beautiful (I wont mention mine!) AND I am just so happy to see her smiling happy face after a tough few years. Thanks for the chance to win some gorgeous prizes x Janelle

My current fave photo is one that happened almost by mistake. I took the kids to the movies on Friday and when we came out it was pouring rain. So as we were waiting for it to stop I snapped a couple shots of my daughter...then came home and scrapped them :)
