Three people will win a spot in Tracey Clark's upcoming class at Big Picture Scrapbooking called Picture Spring.

From Tracey: If someone would have told me what I know today, I’m not sure I would have believed them. That the dew of morning could be magic. That a brand new bud, longing to bloom could cause for celebration. That a cup of tea could whisper an enchanting tale. That what was on my cutting board could bring me back to center. That a dandelion could restore my hope. It’s as though the entire world around me has woken up as have I, as I look both inside myself and out and feel as if every blade of grass, every shard of light is a brand new muse.

It is all of these things that prompted me to create Picture Spring; my new online at Big Picture Scrapbooking. A 30 day soulful seasonal celebration of these muses and using our cameras to seek them out. For all the details on registration on how you can awaken your senses and your lens this spring, visit me over there. I’m giddy with what we’ll discover together.

Picture Spring is a 30-day guided e-class at Big Picture Scrapbooking that will encourage and inspire you to use photography to celebrate the season of new beginnings while honoring and nourishing your creative spirit. With a new email and fresh perspective in your inbox each morning, you'll use the daily photo prompt to help open your mind and guide your lens to see and capture your life and the world around you. Whether you are an expert photographer, or just starting out, this project will help you see things in a completely new light. Taught by Shutter Sisters founder Tracey Clark, Picture Spring will offer a warm, welcoming Shutter Sisteresque invitation to discover the season; camera in hand.

Ahhh this is easy I just got a new Tamron 28-75 2.8 lens and snapped a quick photo of a 4 yo at our baseball game yesterday. The bokeh in the background and the light glistening off her blond hair is beautiful. I wish it was a photo of one of my own kids. But of course they don't have blonde hair. Oh well, love my new lens!

It's from the back & you see my oldest girls when they were small watching tv on a little lounge. I amreminded every time my third daughter sits on the same lounge ten years later inthewishstudio same pose. Powerful images linking yesterdays memories and today's . Love the bag .... Mama's look fine with this one.

It's a photo of my sister and I on the beach, with her children. Our Mum took it. It says family. It says love. It says summer.

I am reminded of a photo of my two oldest daughters watching tv on a lounge. The photois of the back of their heads and every time my third daughter sits in the same spot in the same position I thin of that photo. Powerful - ten years ago linked to today.

This is probably going to sound weird, but my favorite photo shows my chair in the office. It's kind of special; no one else in my office has such a lovely chair: bright orange with large green polka dots on it...and I just love it. Silly, I guess, but it's the little things...

My favorite photo right now was taken this weekend at my daughter's Science Fair. She is being reviewed and tested by her Science buddy and she has the most beautiful smile and true joy in her eyes that tells me she is happy to share and talk with this adult about what she has learned. Part of the story is she was asked why she chose CONCRETE-Water-Ratio and Strength, she said it would be a great topic to show the boys and prove that Girls can Rock with Science.

My favorite photo right now is of my son playing guitar I zoomed in on his hands and the guitar and with some photoshop playing I made it black and white but kept the color of the guitar, I really shows who he is right at this moment. Thanks Ali!
