Three people will win a spot in Tracey Clark's upcoming class at Big Picture Scrapbooking called Picture Spring.

From Tracey: If someone would have told me what I know today, I’m not sure I would have believed them. That the dew of morning could be magic. That a brand new bud, longing to bloom could cause for celebration. That a cup of tea could whisper an enchanting tale. That what was on my cutting board could bring me back to center. That a dandelion could restore my hope. It’s as though the entire world around me has woken up as have I, as I look both inside myself and out and feel as if every blade of grass, every shard of light is a brand new muse.

It is all of these things that prompted me to create Picture Spring; my new online at Big Picture Scrapbooking. A 30 day soulful seasonal celebration of these muses and using our cameras to seek them out. For all the details on registration on how you can awaken your senses and your lens this spring, visit me over there. I’m giddy with what we’ll discover together.

Picture Spring is a 30-day guided e-class at Big Picture Scrapbooking that will encourage and inspire you to use photography to celebrate the season of new beginnings while honoring and nourishing your creative spirit. With a new email and fresh perspective in your inbox each morning, you'll use the daily photo prompt to help open your mind and guide your lens to see and capture your life and the world around you. Whether you are an expert photographer, or just starting out, this project will help you see things in a completely new light. Taught by Shutter Sisters founder Tracey Clark, Picture Spring will offer a warm, welcoming Shutter Sisteresque invitation to discover the season; camera in hand.

I Just found two I took over the summer...pics of each of my girls taking pictures out my mothers front window with my camera. I love that they love to take pictures. And even though it makes me REALLY nervous, I love seeing them get so excited when they are allowed to use mommy's "good" camera.

My kids are currently going through a phase of sleeping together, so I have a bunch of them snuggled together. I want to have some proof they loved each other before they turn into teenagers!

My current favorite photo is one I took last week of my son with my husband's (clean) underwear on his head and looking at the camera making the most ridiculous face. I cracked up the moment that I saw it. I am DROOLING over that camera bag.

My favourite current photo was just taken yesterday. I was filming a short segment for a scrapbooking TV show - something I NEVER thought I would have the nerve to do. A great feeling that I can cross that off my list of things to do in this lifetime. :)

My favorite photo right now is one I took for my Project Life - it is a small purse-size container (pack of 3) of Tums and a pack of moist wipes that fits in the soda holder of your car! It reminds me of those 'simple things' that I love - being 30 weeks pregnant and having a 2-year-old, Tums & wipes are necessities!

A treasured photo of my grandfather, the patriarch of our family who suddenly passed away a year ago. He is sitting in his living room at our family gathering and flipping through a family scrapbook I made him for christmas several years back. Inside this album are photos of his entire family who preceeded him and he loved this album. Him looking through it reminds me of why I create! Such a warm and loving man he was.

My oldest daughter went off to college two years ago. When she came home for Xmas, I was able to get all 4 of my kids in a shot together....all smiling and looking happy. I blew it up and framed it. I won't know the next time I will get them together again.

I've had the same favorite picture for some time and often share it when I speak about foster care and adoption. It's a photo printed on a large canvas of our 3 girls walking along the beach at Hilton Head, SC holding hands and smiling and laughing. I wanted to get a "natural" photo and wasn't having any lucky. My husband walked out into the ocean and dropped his sandals in the water, which brought the cutest, most natural smiles to our girls' faces - priceless!
