We visited my family and celebrated my birthday. I got a guinea pig shaped cake. It was crazy and super cute. :D

What an amazing giveaway. This weekend, our family of six divided into two parts. My husband took my two older boys camping but my two younger ones and I were much happier to stay home in our warm beds.

This weekend my husband and I went for wonderful walks. Breathing in the fresh chilly air while looking at all of the beautiful colors of the leaves is so invigorating. It is a lovely time of the year for those of us who live in NH. What a great give-a-way.The book and kit are gorgeous!

This weekend my husband and our two boys went to Deanna Rose Farmstead. The boys had their faces painted for the first time and went on a hayrack ride to the pumpkin patch. There was a corn maze and fun games for the kids. My youngest said it was "the best day of his life". That is exactly what I love hearing. We are making memories that will stay with them a lifetime. It also doesn't hurt that I have some wonderful pictures for them to look at to remember this day forever.

We revamped our daughter's bedroom, she's seven now and all grown out of pink. She wanted blue and dolphins, so that is what she got. Plus a bit a light yellow to make the room look warmer. We're thinking beach, she's thinking sunshine.

What a cool Journal! I will be busy catching up on laundry and all that other good household stuff after being away at a family funeral for a week. It was a sad week, but it feels better to be home!

I have already done something fun this weekend and am on my way soon to do another fun thing! My husband and I love to play Hawaiian language songs for hula dancers. We have a friend who is a woodworker who had an open studio this weekend. We went and played music with him at his studio and some dancers came too. Today we are off to San Francisco to see a hula show and then go out to eat afterwards at Greens, a vegetarian restaurant. Yippy for fun weekends!

Wow, what a cool journal - I have been drooling over all of the Evalicious stuff! Her stuff is so awesome :) When I have a little bit of extra money I think I may have to endulge!

As for this weekend, it has been full of a lot of down time. My sweetie and I have been trying to get in a lot of together time since the Air Force has him scheduled for a two week class starting tomorrow and I wont see much of him until it is over. Usually these types of things are no big deal, but we are all a bit sad that this time he will be missing not only our son's second birthday, but also our 5th anniversary.

But I have a lot of scrapbooking projects lined up keep me busy while he is away :)
