It's a weekend of sprucing up the family room with new paint and watching some great Broncos football!

I am taking my daughter to see her grandpa ride in a parade honoring Vietnam veterans. And I vowed to myself to enjoy the weekend's little moments and not spend the whole time behind the lens. Thanks for all the inspiration Ali!

I've spent a whole afternoon to myself Saturday running errands and doing a little Christmas shopping! Without any of the kiddos! It was a quiet day.....:)

i've been playing with stamps all weekend! i don't use them often enough.

I attended a contra dance camp in Salt Lake City that featured an excellent band and caller, and a wonderful dance community. Sore feet, happy spirit and memories.

This weekend my brother and his wife had their annual Fall Harvest Party at their house. They have games for the kids, a hay ride and lots of good food. The best part is all of the guests bring canned goods to donate to the local food pantry. Every year we try to beat the amount collected from the previous year and always succeed.

I finally made time this weekend to sew pillowcases of upholstery fabric to match the curtain panels I made a few months ago. They turned out great and really pretty!

I've never had an art journal like the one from Evalicious. It looks like a lot of fun.

Got a Klutz book out, and my daughter and I are honing our skills at making hemp bracelets! It's a beautiful sunny day, and we hope to spend some outside time together, too!

We are going to celebrate my grandparents 60th Wedding Anniversary !! Twenty family members are surprising them for a dinner out at a local farm restaurant !!

I am an Army Reservist and I just got home from my drill weekend. It is 90 miles away and I get to stay in a hotel...alone!! Enjoyed some sushi and a wee bit of Target shopping...Aside from my workday, it's a lovely opportunity for some quiet Momma time!

we went to a pumpkin farm and watched pig races, rode on a covered wagon, and watched out sweet preschooler take a "tractor" ride. so fun! we love fall! :)
