On Mother's Day, I love the breakfast in bed. Even if my kids end up eating most of it before I have a chance!

My favorite thing for mothers day is just a day off from cooking and cleaning and taking care of everyone, mixed with family time together. of course a little pampering is always good, and some lisa leonard jewelry couldn't hurt...

My favorite thing to both give or receive is something handmade. I still have my little flower pot with my Daughters face as the flower. It's so precious to me!!!

I love the mothers day photo shoot. It is one day where the kids don't seem to mind having their picture taken. Oh joy not to have to bribe them.

I always give my Mom a flat or two of pansies and other flowers and plant them so she'll have them all summer.

Not sure what I would like to have for Mother's Day - just spending time with my daughter would make me happy. I just lost my mother in February so Mother's Day will be especially hard this year.

I think that the best gift to give at mother's day is to be there with at my mom's house for that day! Any gift won't give what presence and smile means!

For the last couple of years my 5 kids have prepared a picnic dinner for the family. We then take it to the local nature, which has beautiful woodland trails, take a nice long hike, and eat our meal. It's really fun, we take lots of photos, I feel pampered and appreciated, and the kids don't have to spend money they don't really have on gifts for me. It's definitely a win-win.

Anything handmade! I've always loved the things that my kids make for me. I'm kind of sad now that they're in middle school and don't really bring home those precious gifts they make at school. But I still get handmade cards and those are always special.

I'm not a mom, but I like to give my mom a book she's been wanting (she loves to read), a treat, and a handmade card.

I usually made a special card or a small album for my mom. She died a month ago so Mother's Day will be a bittersweet day this year.

I would love a mommy necklace for Mother's Day this year, but my most favorite gift is something homemade from the kiddo! :D

My babies are too young to make anything homemade right now so I guess the best thing would be a pretty hanging basket.
