Christmas Art Journal.
Feeling a bit better today - thanks for all the kind thoughts.
One of my favorite parts about the holidays last year was participating in Shimelle's Christmas Art Journal Class. Even though I didn't finish it last year, I love how it connected me daily to the holiday season in an artful and reflective way. I love that it gave me something to focus on and pushed me to try new things.
Here is one sample page I completed last year:
The rest of my pages from last year are located in my Art Journal folder to the right.
I highly recommend this experience. No pressure. Just good prompts and lots of sharing with others on the same journey. Not sure yet if I am going to have a chance to participate this year - December is shaping up to be pretty busy for us with a couple weekend workshops, a vacation, and hopefully a move into a new house. If my new house gets decorated I will consider that a huge accomplishment.

Love the idea to memorialize the holidays. Hope I get the chance to take the class.

Ali, glad you're feeling better. Must be the time of year. DS was sick and missed school three days last week. Now I'm nursing a cold and fever blisters. Ugh! Hang in there!

I'm really thinking about taking this class. I am just afraid I will be so busy that I won't do it. On the other hand, it would be a great outlet for all of that holiday stress. Would love to get it for free!

So excited about the art journal idea! I was really disappointed in myself last year...the only Christmas pictures I have are those of my tree! It was the first Christmas that my husband and I were married and I had such big ideas...but this year I am going to take pictures throughout the season and do some type of project with them...maybe an art journal?!

I just want to say I hope you are feeling better, --I've got the sore throat thing going on and it is not fun!
I loved your christmas art journal last year, and hope I can make the time to try my hand at it this year --of course taking Shimelle's class would just make my year!
