    Hi Ali! :)
Right now I'm loving to look back on those "favorites" layouts and see what kind of things my daughter loved when she was a year old, etc. She's almost 3 and I create a few of those kind of layouts each year and it's just so neat to see how she changes and what she comes to love! ;) Thanks for the chance!

For several years I have concentrated on making books for my adult children and have enjoyed seeing how much they appreciate the gifts. However, I didn't make books for myself so my favorite new project is making a series of mini books for me!

I love to watch my 3 year old look through her scrapbooks and ask questions about her life so far. I can only imagine the hours we'll spend looking through them as she gets older. I guess I love the connections it encourages.
    Thanks,
    Liz

My favorite things is that it is our life - the good, the bad, the ugly, the little things, the big things, the special things, the weird things and the silly things. It is our family!!!! I love it!!
    Thank you for the giveaway!

Hey Ali. I just have to say that my favorite thing about memory keeping is definately the journaling!! Life flies by so fast and we are always so busy. My albums help me remember all of the "history" of my family. And it is great at answering all of my 4 year olds questions about when he was a baby!! LOL!! That is my favorite thing, hands down!!!

As my parents are getting older and have moved further away, it's important to me that my daughters have recorded memories of their times with their grandparents.

My favorite thing about telling stories right now has to do with my son's age. He has talked for quite some time, now, but he says the greatest things in his attempt to communicate. I want to remember the things that made us laugh and caught our hearts, and put them down so that someday he realizes how amazing he is to us.

My favorite thing right now is realizing that there are no rules, and I can treasure my memories however I would like, whether that means through a scrapbook page, a framed photo, or a journal entry.

Hi, Ali. I would have to say that my favorite part about memory-keeping right now is just the documentation of my daughter's 'everyday life'. She just turned two and the fact that she won't recall this part of her life without the documentation makes it that much more meaningful to me. Thanks for a chance to win!

Without question, my favorite part about memory keeping right now is getting down all the adorable things my 2 year old says and does. They may not be huge memorable things that will stay with me forever but they are highlights of my everyday that remind me how much I love her. What a shame if they were lost.

My favorite thing right now, is knowing that my family will be able to look back at these albums and know, not only that this is for them, but to also be able to remember all the crazy, great, times we have had and also the all people in our lives. Thanks for all your inspiration!

Simply said...my favorite thing about memory keeping right now is enjoying the process and realizing there are no rules in scrapbooking, but most importantly, my FAVORITE thing in memory keeping right now is enjoy and sharing the pages I have already made. That's what it's all about for me!!!

    Hi Ali!
My favorite thing about scrapbooking is preserving my own history. I am currently visiting Memphis (husband in on a business trip and I tagged along) and yesterday was spent visiting museums. I just wrote on my blog that I love history. I am fascinated with how people lived 20 to 2000 years ago. I love looking at artifacts and trying to imagine how they lived. That being said, I love scrapbooking because I am recording my thoughts and my life down on paper for my children. I love imaging that my kids too will be just as fascinated on how I lived in my lifetime through my scrapbooking.

I am not a huge fan of my own writing on a layout. I've been trying small journaling strips with the date or names just to have it on there and so far, so good

my favorite thing about memory keeping right now is that i'm getting out all my current thoughts about my life, so that later i can look back at what i was thinking about certain situations and see how they all played out for the better. it's been totally liberating, acutally! :)
thanks so much for giving these away!!

I enjoys taking photos & more photos of my 4 year old daughter & seven months old son. I only have a few of my own childhood photos. So now I am taking as many photos of my kids as they grow up as memory keeping. :)

I'm recently recovering from a bout of "creative crisis". My priorities were totally messed up; I thought I had to have a proprietary purpose (S4H) or public acclaim to continue to create. I feel like that Oxygen program Snapped. I create because I love the process. I create because it keeps me in touch with my world; it gives me perspective. I create because I am an historian. I create because I love bling and paper and photos and most of all I create because I'm a sucker for a good story.

Reliving the memories of the photos as I get them out and scrap. I giggle, laugh, and sometimes feel sad but it is the rush of emotion that I feel that is my favorite part. I can also be kind of annoying because I can't keep all of this information to myself so most of my tablemates end up hearing the story to go with the pictures. Great question.
    Cheers!

My favorite thing about memory keeping right now is that it enables us to keep our loved ones close to us even if they are no longer able to be with us. I am putting together a mini book today for my aunt who is moving across the country so she can take all of us with her on her journey. I also think that it is a lasting way to let others know the impact they have had on our lives.

For me right now, I would have to say my favorite thing about memory keeping is the creative domino effect it creates. I am feeling extra creative these days and when I scrapbook, it also makes me want to paint, decorate, sew and create in general! I also love that it encourages my kids to create--they see me scrapbook and they want to make their own pages. SWEET!

My favorite thing about memory keeping .....the untold stories. I love to document the little things said or done in our lives. The ones usually forgotten by others that make us laugh when we look back and read my scrapbooks.
    *Things said
    *Peoples reactions to events
*made up words that we soon forget
