My favorite thing is capturing the day-to-day stuff... the hysterical things the kids say, the joy we find in the mundane, and even my frustration with it at times. But I love that I can flip through and get a "true" sense of our home, rather than just vacations and birthday parties :)

Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens
Bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens
Brown paper packages tied up with strings
These are a few of my favorite things.
Sorry... the question made me think of a favorite movie. I make scrapbooks so my kids can one day look at all of them and remember thier lives like it was their favorite movie. (musical numbers included)

My favorite about memory keeping is that I am documenting my history. Recording my feelings and thoughts and my hopes. I love that I can look back and realize what I had been in a certain point in time.

    Favorite thing....remembering all the small details that would otherwise be forgotten. {oh and getting to use pretty paper along the way}

My favorite thing about memory keeping right now is that my step-son, nieces and nephew, who are all spread out over the country, can partcipate in the process with me. My step-son is old enough to take his own pictures and email them to me, and the little kids love telling thier stories for me.

Besides loving being creative I love to document all things out of our ordinary life for my little girl. When she is doing things for the first time or is saying things for the first time you think you will remember it all by heart....but when time flies, so much wonderful things happen that remembering by heart is not enough....scrapbooking is the best way to keep those memories. And sometimes when life is hard it works like a therapy.
I'm very thankful I started scrapbooking 2 years ago.
    Love those kits :-)

my favourite thing about memory keeping right now are the stories and seeing how my children have changed.
I have just finished some album housekeeping and as I sorted I would stop and read the stories, so many wonderful stories just about our lives

My favorite thing to do lately on my pages is being more creative with my titles and journaling more. I am trying to get better at telling the story of the moments captured with my camera.

Truly, for me, scrapbook art is less about memory keeping and more about "present-keeping"--keeping me present and aware and grateful for what is happening and who is in my life right here and now. Scrapbook art helps me to stay present...and the fact that I can look back on my art to relive and reflect and capture memories is an amazing added bonus!
    Blessings,
    Nicole

Right now I love capturing the awkward age my sons are in. They hate hate having their picture taken but as we are entering this "tween" stage, I want them to see as many photos as when they were little. This stage (and all) are just as important as the young years.

    I tried for this kit!!
My favorite thing about keeping memories right now is to try and tell my part of the story...feeling, emotions, facts. I want to be able to look at my layouts and be transported back in time. Remember smells and everyone who was there. The little things. I want to be able to remember the little things.

i love the fact that i am able to create a simple (quick!) page and be totally okay with the fact that my main focus is now to illustrate and tell as many stories as possible. if later decide that i want a page that is more decorative, i can always go back and do that. at least i have the stories documented simply instead of not at all!

I love the fact that my girls LOVE to look at the pages I've completed for them. They will get their box down and look at the pages one-by-one, reading the journalling, looking at the pictures and then we always talk about that particular event whether serious or silly.

My favorite thing about memory keeping is all the different avenues we have to record our stories. The memory, or dtory, can dictate the way we chose to preserve it, rather than the other way around.

My favorite thing about memory keeping right now is caputuring the now instead of worrying about how far behind I am in getting caught up in the past. I find that scapbooking the present is much easier the trying to recapture pages from years ago. I love buying all the new stuff! I still so loving your inspiration. It is always so fresh!

Remembering all the little bits and pieces of my 8 month old's daily happenings. Love that I can look back on the days when she was a newborn (feels like it was just yesterday)!

I'm not actually creating pages right now, having just moved into a new home. I'm really into collecting things right now - little bits and pieces of paper that are associated with memories we are making.
I've also starting keeping a little computer file on things that our daughter is doing, what she likes/disklikes, etc. I have always been terrible at journaling so I am re-evaluating my process and trying new things.

My favourite thing is just recording the everyday cute things my kids do and say. I also love recording the "facts" but the everday moments are my favourite. I think those things will be most interesting to them when they are older too :)

My favorite thing about memory keeping is recording the people my daughters are becoming every day. There are many things I've documented that I otherwise would have forgotten about their everyday lives...

My mom passed away when I was 16, leaving behind no scrapbooks, journals, or even dated photographs, so my favorite part about memory keeping is knowing that when I am no longer here, My son will have keepsakes from our time together.
    p.s. That kit ROCKS!!!!!!
    Thanks Ali,
    Trace G
