My favorite thing? There are so many!
I love the creative outlet I have found. I love documenting both events and everyday moments. I love that my family appreciates my efforts and shares my work with their friends. I love the social aspect..the wonderful girlfriends I have made thru this hobby and I love the fact that I can always learn more by taking classes and reading blogs and magazines.
    thanks for the great give-away!

The nicest thing right now is that I am updated with my scraps, I am a chronologic scrapper and I am very happy to have all of my 2008 pictures scrapped :) and just in time to become a new baby girl, arriving next Monday, August 4th :) and to take some 1000 of pictures of her and her brother and her sister and be so behind my scraps again

My favorite thing is to record a piece of a memory that blossoms into multiple memories. I think many times you remember a time/event which leads you to remember other things related to that time. Just recording a piece is a way to pare down. (Can you tell my scrapbooking style is minimalistic?!)

    Hi Ali,
My favorite thing about memory keeping is seeing my childrens eyes light up when they look thru their books. They love seeing themselves and the fun things we have done and I love that my scrapbooks will keep that memory alive for them.

My favorite thing about scrapbooking is documenting my family and friends stories through pictures in my books. I often have a hard time journaling with words, but love how you can tell a story with the pictures. All of the products out there make it easy.

My favorite thing is being able to capture memories and photos of the past so that they are still fresh when I look at them in the future. I also love the feel of the paper in my hands and the thought process that goes into making the layout.

My favorite part is recording the every day moments, as opposed to big events. Those are the things that shape our lives and the things I want to always remember. Thanks--great giveaway!

My baby is growing so fast... the memories I preserved just last week or even yesterday are already valuable to me because he has moved on to new and different things already.

With a fast changing world around us it is comforting to hold fast to those around us who keep us grounded in what is important. Keeping these treasured memories keeps us tied to what is real in our lives. We leave our legacy to those who may just need to glimpse into a world that was ours if only for a "moment".

WOW...you DO get a lot of comments at an early hour, don't you?
Love this kit...you do great work!
    OK-favorite thing about memory keeping?
Well, I just love taking pictures and being able to look back on them with the kids.
If they're in a cute album...that's even better. (sometimes it takes a while to get to that part, though! :D)

Right now it's important for me to document being pregnant. I never thought it would be, I'm not one for sentimenatility much, but have found that scrapping my scan pics and talking to my baby through journalling makes me feel closer to her every day, even though she's still not officially arrived.

My favorite thing is just getting it done. Getting the pictures and the story down on paper or in a blog, some how capturing the memories and being done with saving them. Its awesome to not have it looming over me, making me feel guilty for not getting them done.

I've been scrapping for 12 years (since my first son was born) and scrapbooking helps me keep the memories real...i look back at his old scrapbooks and I would have forgotten so many memories without having journaled and photographed them.

I am scrabooking my childhood pictures and old family photos right now. It is so fun to go back and remember childhood memories looking at the photos. Family trips, holidays, my mom was big on capturing the every day even then. Love the old photos of my mom and dad before they were parents. I love doing layouts with retro style paper! Thanks Ali your such an inspiration for me!

My favorite thing about memory keeping is looking back thru my albums and remembering all the special times with my daughter that I think I will never forget but often do. It's the little stuff she says or does that I'm so glad to be capturing. -Carmen

I have recently discovered the FLEXIBILITY that I can have when scrapbooking! I felt for the past year that I NEEDED to get all my wedding and honeymoon photos scrapbooked before I could scrap anything else. I recently realized that I really don't need to at all... I just need to do whatever I feel is right at the moment. If I feel like creating a page around a blurry photo I took last weekend at a BBQ, then I can definitely do that, because that's what is inspiring me right now. I can honestly say that I love this new FREEDOM I found! :-)

As a mother to 2 daughters and grandmother to 5 children, I am realizing how quickly the years fly by, and how much I want to hold on to some the the memories that are important to me. Hopefully one day they will look through my albums and realize what a treasure they are.:)

Hi there, one of my favorite things is playing with texture, pattern, and layout. As a graphic designer, I love these things and work with them on a daily basis. But it all comes down to the fact that I love creating a history of my life and I use scrapbooking to honor my family. Love it! Jenny

My favorite thing about memory keeping right now is that it is my "me time". I can do something for myself by having this hobby, but I can also do something for my family at the same time.

My fav. thing right now is that when I look back on the pages I have finished I am reminded to slow down and make the most of every day because my "little" boy is already a first grader! Recently we went through his first year album and I showed him photos from my first Mother's Day. I said, "I wasn't a mommy until you came along". He asked, "then what were you?". Hilarious!

My favorite thing is keeping track of all the details of my daughter's life. I love to look back on the past three years and instantly remember those times because she is growing up so fast. Up next, recapturing my own life in my scrapbooks!
