Three Things : Three Giveaways

Giveaways

A fun Tuesday giveaway:

1. Five gift certificates to Songbird Avenue. Here's what's cool about these guys: they are a digital scrapbooking-based online boutique
whose proceeds are donated to various charities each month in an effort
to give compassionately to those in need. Definitely a site to check out and support.

2. One November kit from Stampin With Steph (a Stampin Up independent demonstrator).

3. One November kit (designed by Stacy Julian) for Cocoa Daisy (you will receive this in early November).

To be entered into the drawing leave a comment below and let me know how you celebrate the fall season. Comments will be closed today (Tuesday) at 8pm Pacific and the winners announced shortly after.

We take a drive on the Blue Ridge Parkway to see the fall colors and then spend the afternoon walking around Asheville, NC. My children are most excited about Halloween, though, so we start preparing for that in September.

Warm socks, hot apple cider, a morning walk on a cool, brisk day - listening to the sounds of the leaves under your feet..... the happy glow you feel when you think about holiday baking. Ah, mouth waters just thinking about the spice cakes and mullen spices.

We usually don't do anything out of the ordinary, the pumpkin patch and fresh cider and donuts is about as exciting as we get, but this year we were able to take a ride in a single prop plane over the town that my husband and I grew up in. Our boys (ages 4 & 6) thought it was way cool (so did we) and the fall colors were beautiful.

I decorate the house with fall colors, and we go for hikes when the leaves start to change. Also love going to the pumpkin patch!

We celebrate with the beautiful colors of fall around our home, the smell of apple cider simmering, warm suppers and snuggling in front of our fireplace to name a few. We are truly grateful for this time of year!

We love Halloween at our house, so we always hit the Halloween stores to see what is new that we can add to our collection. Of course the pumpkin patch is a big hit too!

    Fall to us means:
-raking leaves and then jumping in them
    -visiting the pumpkin patch
    -painting and carving pumpkins
-getting the sweatshirts out for the day and the blankets for the night
    -making art projects with leaves
-getting excited about Halloween and Thanksgiving
Great giveaway. I am working on my Week in the Life book. What a great project!

    Hi Ali!
Up here the fall season is very short due to Old Man Winter being around the corner so we get pumpkins, do crafts with our little guy and bake pumpkin cookies!

I make sure that I take lots and lots of walks. I love watching the leaves fall and accumulate and blow. So much fun. I also try to go to the pumpkin patch with the boys - always fun. Lots more cups of tea and more blankets. I think it is about enjoying it while it lasts - because it goes so quickly.

We do not really celebrate the fall here in Norway/ my home. But when the fall arrives, we spend much time outside, in the rainy and windy weater. This year especially, because my man&I are building a cabin by the sea, and we have to work in all kinds of weather, to get it done. And it is lovely.. fall is lovely! I also take lots of pictures each fall. And yes, I celebrate my birthday, which is tomorrow =)

I celebrate by talking more walks, stomping on the leaves. Having hot chocolate and popcorn snacks at night with my girls. Breaking out my warm robe and slippers and decorating my house.

It's now officially a tradition, each fall I take a ride in the combine with my father-in-law and take a trip or two in a semi to an elevator or bin site with my husband.

It's all about apples, soups and home-made bread! This is my favorite time of year, especially for cooking. I love the colors of the leaves changing, the nip in the air with the warmth of the sun.
    Ahhhhh...Fall!

    Hi Ali,
We celebrate with a trip to the pumpkin patch and then making our own pumpkin puree and a pumpkin pie with different cut outs of crust in the middle. Then of course carving the pumpkins for Hallow'en.
Great Giveaway Ideas! I love them all!

Beach crowds gone, crisp cold weather, walking the dog on the crinkly dried colorful leaves, fall craft fairs, sweaters, and cider...are all the things I love about fall.

Wow Ali! Thanks! What an awesome give away! We love to celebrate the fall season by raking leaves....... and then JUMPIN' IN the huge pile! I also love to celebrate the fall by carving pumpkins for halloween (my husband and I scuba dive and often participate in the underwater pumpkin carving contest at the local dive shop!) And then of course I can't forget either about celebrating fall with fresh and tasty cider donuts from the local apple orchard! Yummy!

My favorite way to celebrate the fall season is by enjoying the great outdoors, especially at the cider mill.

In Texas, fall is our tradition of watching our trees turn a golden yellow, burnt orange and flame red. We pick the perfect pumpink and on Halloween, we carve a masterpiece. Panning and Shopping for the Thanksgiving feast is a annual event. Spending time with family and friends is a blessing and a special tradition.

    Ali,
    What beautiful kits!! So excited.
My family celebrates Fall by picking pumpkins from my sisters ever-growing pumpkin patch! My two little girls think it's pretty special that there Aunt grows pumpkins "just for them!"
    Thanks!!
