Three Things : Three Giveaways

Giveaways

A fun Tuesday giveaway:

1. Five gift certificates to Songbird Avenue. Here's what's cool about these guys: they are a digital scrapbooking-based online boutique
whose proceeds are donated to various charities each month in an effort
to give compassionately to those in need. Definitely a site to check out and support.

2. One November kit from Stampin With Steph (a Stampin Up independent demonstrator).

3. One November kit (designed by Stacy Julian) for Cocoa Daisy (you will receive this in early November).

To be entered into the drawing leave a comment below and let me know how you celebrate the fall season. Comments will be closed today (Tuesday) at 8pm Pacific and the winners announced shortly after.

We celebrate by decorating for fall, and taking pictures of the leaves turning. This is my favorite time of year.

We got to the A-maizing corn maze. Another fall tradition in this Halloween loving home is decorating for Halloween in September and making pumpkin soup to eat while we watch The Nightmare Before Christmas. We spend the entire season singing the soundtrack.

We usually try to take a trip in the fall - somewhere new where the leaves are turning. We've done Seattle, Colorado, Virginia, and now this year, Nashville.

Enjoying the cool weather, and the changing of the season.... This is my time of year. This year all 7 of my kids will be here along with my 3 daughter in laws, and my 2 grand babies for Thanksgiving. It's been 2 years since we were all together so there is going to be lots...and lots of picture by mom

ALi! WE made APPLE BUTTER! As a family we picked apples from a local orchard in Medina Ohio - GIEGS...great place. We (jalyn and kyla age 4 mom and dad) went and picked 50 lbs. of apples. WE cooked them down and for hours...canned last two nights. Then, the preschool teachers for jalyn and kyla got apple butter and a huge, huge, apple for a treat! It was great and oh, my house smells so GOOD! YUMMY!

Fall is my favorite season, and my favorite part of fall is Halloween. To me, the entire month of October is filled with decorating and baking, and most importantly, being able to wear those halloween earrings all month long!

I have to say we really truly only have one tradition and it is the pumpkin patch and maze. I want to add in apple picking but every year it seems to late by the time we are able to go all together as a family. I also love to bring out my electric blanket and warm clothes. Leaves changing color are my favorite too! Plus I love listening to my kids in the car look at all the leaves.

We celebrate fall with the usual visit to a local pumpkin patch. This year was the first year we actually decorated the outside of our house with a 'spoooky' graveyard my 5yr old daughter was sooo excited about doing this year. We live out where we have no neighbors but seeing all the decorated houses in town on the way to school and on the way home has really brought out the little decorator in her. Happy fall!

    Awesome, Ali!
Fall is my absolute favorite - I just love to cozy up in my home with warm clothes, look out the windows at the beautiful colors, and go crunch in the leaves!

We do a lot of things. My kids are you (5 & 3) so we are still adding to the list of new traditions. The first weekend that the pumpkin patch was open, we were there. Of course, Thanksgiving is a big kick off for us since we get to visit both sides of the family. This past week we have drawn decorations for our windows, which are now full of pumpkins, bats and a dog (DD thought a Halloween dog was a great idea).
Cookies will come this weekend, and the carving of the pumpkins will of course be followed with the roasting of the seeds (my fav). My favorite fall day is crisp with sunshine and just a hint of snow coming to the mountains.

We used to go pick apples in North Carolina even though it's 6 hours from where we live. It's because that's where our Grandma lived and we visit with her. Now that's she gone, we haven't been back. I do miss those trips. I need to find something else to do closer to home.

Fall to us means picking pumpkins, going to the local apple orchard (at least twice), raking and playing in leaves, and of course Ohio State Football :)

    Hi Ali!
Fall is my FAVORITE season. There is something about the falling leaves, cool colors, the smell of pumpkin, .... that is so calming to the soul. We try to spend as much time as possible outside surrounded by leaves and pumpkins and when indoors, I surround us with the smell of pumpkins by lighting candles, plugging in Wallflowers, baking, etc. Yummy!

I am enjoying my first proper autumn in the US and I intend to try everything I can and make new traditions. That to me means weekends at the lake, pumpkin patches and pumpkin carving, taking kids trick-or-treating, corn mazes, s'mores and camp fires. All things I have never done before and all things I can't wait to try!

I celebrate fall by going o the pumpkin patch with my husband and friends and spend more time taking pictures of all the colors than picking out my own pumpkin!

We always try to make it to the pumpkin patch or something similar. We also love our church bonfire and hayride each year. Most of our spare time is spent cleaning up the millions of leaves in our yard.

Hi Ali! My way of officially celebrating fall is to go get fresh apples and apple cider from a local orchard. I look forward to it every year.
I'm also doing your week in the life project this week, started yesterday!

Beautiful giveaways! When that fall snap is in the air my husband loves to watch football, and make chili. I love to decorate for the season and carve pumpkins. It's one of our favorite times of year and now we get to start some new traditions with our little boy - like picking out pumpkins. So very fun.

One of our things is going on a nature walk through the foothills, gathering little things here & there for "Family Craft Night" - we have all sorts of craft nights & days but on this occasion, daddy joins in. We then decorate our house with our creations. Fun for all!

Fall is full of traditions for our little family. Lots of baking (pumpkin bars with cream cheese icing!) and annual trips to the apple orchard and pumpkin patch. We always make a point to research the patches - going to one with a corn maze is now a requirement!

it just wouldn't be fall without making several batches of caramel apples covered in yummies and jumping in a just-raked leaf pile or two (much to dh's dismay):)

Where I live, Fall is short and sweet. We only have a short time to enjoy the colors. And usually, to enjoy the colors, my family goes scouting for elk. Then the rest of the fall is waitng to see if my husband brings home meat for the year, which I am grateful. But, it also means waiting for my husband to bring home meat and knowing that I have to help in the preparing and packaging...yuck. But I am very thankful.

We celebrate fall with a yearly trip to Apple Hill and purchase Able's yummy Apple Cherry Pie. This year we picked up two and so far we've only had one....so one more to go. Yummy!
We also decorate our pumpkins...we will be making Superman & Batman this year and the kids will be Batman & Catwoman. It's a Superhero year at our house. :-)
