Today is my birthday & the sun is shining on the daffodils I planted in our front garden! Bliss! :o) So today kinda feels like a fresh start as I begin a new year of my life & as spring brings new life into being all around me... I guess the anticipation & excitement of what the year ahead will bring with all it's possibilities & adventures is inspiring me right now!

The warm weather outside has inspired me to enjoy everything and then when quickly followed by cold it gives me a chance to scrap those memories.

there's inspiration all around - my DH, kids, grandkids. But I'm afraid at this moment my inspiration is based on the unpleasant news yesterday - a diagnosis of colon cancer - now I really need to get to scrapping all the important things of my life. Blessings to you Ali and your family - hugs to Simon and ACE

Becky Higgins baby kit. I just pulled it out to start making my 3rd child's baby book (he's 2 years old next week). Finding it soo cute and easy to put together! I'm so happy to have time to be scrapping again!

I am inspired by Heidi, Rhonna and Janet's new adventure - House of 3. It is a great combination of beautiful design and thoughtful and meaningful projects. With the housewarming this past weekend, it was good to sit and think about what home really means to our family. Congratulations on the newest addition to your home - Anna.

My friend and sis-in-law are both expecting this summer... so I'm super-inspired to do baby stuff. Also inspired by hedgehogs... like this stamp I bought from Etsy:

We just bought our first house as a married couple and I am NOW inspired to paint and decorate. Yesterday, I painted the room that we will use as our master bedroom - using ZERO VOC paint, since I am pregnant with our first child. The nursery paint is next on the agenda since we have to be ready by the end of May for BABY. Eventually, my office/craft room will be done, but BABY's room is a higher priority, I'm afraid, so crafting will HAVE to wait!

What inspires me right now is the sunshine! We haven't seen it in Michigan much this winter - so the bright sunshine just makes everything better.

YOU posting at 5am is inspiring. I have my finals coming up in May and I prefer cuddling under a nice blanket on the couch closing my eyes for just a few minutes... longer... and longer... ooops, the afternoon has gone by...
Anyways. Ali, you inspire me in all you do and in all that you are. I love reading your blog. Thank you for sharing your life.

What is inspiring me right now.... the thought of SPRING! It is so refreshing and uplifting to finally wake to daylight in the early hours, and to hear the doves back from winter vacation, outside my bedroom window, telling us to get out of bed. I want to capture these moments after such a loooong winter.

I have joined Lisa Day's Creativity Project and its really getting me excited to see that creativity doesn't have to be wonderful layouts everyday, but can be as simple as spending an hour playing legos with your kids. LOVE IT!

There is a feeling of urgency about life that I have right now, that life is short and I am growing older, and there are so many stories and emotions about my children that I need to get down. Can't explain it, but it's there. This is inspiration for me.

First and foremost, my kids have been inspiring me. They grow SO FAST (as you well know).
I heard both children up this morning. I laid in bed listening to the monitor as I heard my son go into the nursery and greet his sister this morning with a rousing, "Hi mimi" (aka Kymberlin)
So really, I think the inspiration comes from childhood innocence and watching them in theirs.

Lately I've been inspired by the energy that seems to be coming from New England Spring trying to cut through this wretched winter. Back and forth we go and Spring is struggling to break through, but the energy of it all is quite inspiring!

Lately I have been checking out the hero arts blog - great ideas for cards and layouts! I'm really enjoying playing with their stamps. Lots of extremely creative woman over there - very inspiring. And they always seem to have something for everyone. Oh and great "how to" videos!
