I am inspired by the fact that I will soon finish my portfolio for National Teacher Certification. I am inspired by the smell of spring in the air, well when it was 70 degrees, and the rest and time I hope to spend with my six-year old during spring break before the baby comes. SO much inspiration. :-)

My laptop breaking has actually been my inspiration lately. My home has been cleaner, my sleep has been longer, I've been craftier, read much more, spend more time with loved ones, and much less time in front of the tv. It's been a blessing in diguise!

The smell of spring in the air. Living in MN where we have 8 months of winter gets old. So that moment I go outside and smell the melting snow and hear the chirping birds, I feel the need to go inside and open all the windows as wide as possible, and start looking through my seed catalogs. Can't wait to start my garden.

We are getting ready to put our 2 year old daughter in a "big girl" bed and I am loving all the color combos and patterns/designs for little girls's bedding right now. Planning to translate some of the color combinations to my layouts.

Lately I've been inspired by just creating! it seems like the more time I spend creating the more creative I am. I just love that feeling when you feel like it is pouring out of you.

I am inspired by the change in seasons. Living in upstate NY we experience all four and each time I am anxious and ready to redo, fix up, and decorate.

I love the whole idea of the "You Are Beautiful" Project. (http://www.you-are-beautiful.com/INSTALLATIONS.htm) You can design your own sticker or make a giant sign that simply states "You Are Beautiful" and post it in public. The point is to remind people that they are beautiful to someone, to anyone, to everyone. The photos from contributors gives me goosebumps because I would love to post that sign in my neighborhood. I would love people to start remembering that more often!

Approaching my 31st birthday, I have been noticing some changes in myself. Almost like some sort of awakening, or maybe just a light bulb going off in my head, I've been realizing that this is who I am. I am ok with that. I don't need to change myself. And in this realization, I have been leaning toward the simple things in my designs. Your digital brushes, templates, and designs have been a major inspiration for me as of late. Thank you for sharing your style and ideals.

As my pregnancy draws to a close, (I'm 39 weeks!) I've been taking time to be inspired by the other creative mamas out there...the ones that make me feel not so overwhelmed with the changes that my life is about to sustain. =)

After all she's been through, she's still so positive. If she can go through all that, I can get through my little ups and downs just fine. ;-)

My son finding "I love yous" (hearts) everywhere we go. He just turned three and can spot a heart just about anywhere. Yesterday he found my heart punch in my scrapbooking supplies and wanted to work with it. We sat down together and created a heart collage out various papers from my scrap box. I framed it and put it in his bedroom. I love that little things he says can turn into a meaningful project we can create together. Thanks for a chance to win once again, Ali!
