My favorite childhood summer memory is going to Orioles baseball games with my sister and Dad. And every trip, the song "Girl I'm gonna miss you" by Milli Vanilli played on the radio. It was like our theme song for the summer. I miss that.

My favourite summertime memory is the one's week's family holiday we spent at Great Yarmouth (I live in England) in a caravan by the seaside. I hated going home so much that my ambition was to live by the sea, and now I do!

As a child, my family used to take month-long vacations, traveling around the country in our RV. So many good memories in that small 25' space. :)

My favorite summer time memory from my childhood has got to be my summers spent at the family chalet (cottage) where we swam in the lake, covered ourselves in clay and dried ourselves in the sun, caught blood suckers and killed them, hunted for the perfect sticks for hotdog/marshmallow roasting, subsequent marshmallow/hotdog roasting over a camp fire (YUM), fire works on the beach, catching fireflies in glass canning jars, trying to catch dragon flies, blueberry & raspberry picking (YUM), fishing and waterskiing, and overall the jokes and good times spent doing all the above with my family!

My favorite childhood summer memory is playing in a sprinkler and sticky push-up popsicles! They remind me of summer and of the hot Texas sun.

My favorite memories are bike riding with my best friend and playing with the neighborhood kids. Walking to the candy store and getting icecream. Watching baseball games, slip and slides. We had a freedom and that is what was so great to feel.

Both memories revolve around my dad ... I used to think he had summers off ... apparently his 2 week vacation was jam-packed for me! Being the youngest of 4 siblings with 7 years between the 3rd and 4th, there were plenty of times where it was just he and I doing things ... He'd take me to the town pool every day and if we were out and about, we'd split a chocolate shake from the ice cream stand. It's something I still remember feeling special doing with just him and I. :)

I remember being able to play outside in the front well after it was dark; Back then all our parents sat outside and chatted while the kids ran around. It was like an informal block party almost every night. Fun!

My favorite summertime memory from childhood would be the week we would spend at my grandparents house. My grandma would let me put on her makeup.

I loved playing spotlight--flashlight tag. We lived in the tropics where it felt like summer all year long, but when we were out of school, we played spotlight every night. Dressed in black, we'd hide in the grasses and on the beach. It was very fun!

one of my favorite summer-time memories would be riding my bike to the tiny town library (which really wasn't much bigger than our family room today!!!)...and checking out books, taking them home to read in my bedroom, away from my pesky brothers!!...and doing this endlessly thru the summers when i was little. to this day, i love libraries! and i still love my brothers too!

My favorite summer time memory is being free for the summer and doing nothing but fun things. I loved going to the library and spending hours going through the aisles and loading up on books. Just yesterday I bought one of my favorite books "Are you there God It's me Margaret" by Judy Blume. Her books remind me of summer time growing up!!!!
