Sponsor Giveaways: SewCute Shop

Sewcutegiveaway

One person will receive a Women's Auty Top from SewCute Shop (you will be able to choose your own fabric from her current stock):

Here's a little bit about SewCute Shop and Brandy's mission to do something really good for another family:

I started sewing sometime last year and fell in love. My grandmother (Nana) taught me the basics of pinning patterns, hemming, and seams. After being taught those skills I have really been a self-taught seamstress. I have a true love for putting the most trendy fabrics together and making 'SewCute' items. The items I place in SewCute Shop are my favorites and I am very happy to make them for you.

In March 2009 my best friend's little boy was suddenly diagnosed with adrenoleukodystrophy (ALD) - a degenerative brain disease. The movie 'Lorenzo's Oil was made to bring awareness to this newly discovered disease. In early April, Joel, Teresa and Riley Greene aka TEAMGREENE were moved from Chattanooga, TN to Durham, NC where Riley would spend what they thought 100 days after receiving a bone marrow transplant. Due to complications, this week marks 133 TEAMGREENE has been in Duke Hospital.

I made a pledge to donate all proceeds from SewCute Shop to TEAMGREENE until they returned home in Chattanooga. For me sewing has become much more than just a hobby it has been a small part of what allows my best friend to stay by her son's side. For more information on TEAMGREENE visit www.carepages.com/carepages/teamgreene and create a username/password.

When I'm not sewing away I enjoy spending time with my fabulous husband, Ty and two children Autumn (9) and Tyler (2).

I had Brandy make one of these for Anna (see above) and one of these for me (love wearing it over my jeans) and they are awesome.

My favorite charity is the group of kids at my school who receive a full Thanksgiving dinner, courtesy of donations from parents, teachers, and students. Everyone ought to get to eat a meal of gratitude for all of our blessings on that day!

How beautiful! What a great giveaway! My favorite charity is World Vision - www.worldvision.org. World Vision does amazing work all over the world and I am proud to support them. My husband and I currently sponsor four children (3 in Tanzania and 1 in Columbia) and I love to shop their gift catalog to make donations in the name of loved ones.

I love handmade anything, especially sewn items, its my other passion that consumes me when I am not scrapbooking. My fave charity is Kiva. They provide loans to business people, so they can lift themselves out of poverty with dignity. Check it out at http://www.kiva.org/
I like to lend to dressmakers, tailors or other crafty folk. The best part is once the loan is repaid you can lend it again :O) Fabulous idea.

Our nephew was diagnosed with Severe Aplastic Anemia when he was just 2. Well, he had a bone marrow transplant at the age of 9 and is healthy at 12 right now! He is a wonderful little boy who has a testimony that would amaze every adult I know.
This is an awesome idea, Ali. I have enjoyed reading through and looking at all the wonderful organizations everyone supports!

These are adorable and what a generous heart. We have a few that we give to regularly. We have been sponsoring a child for the past 3 years with Compassion International (www.compassion.com) and we donate to Relay for Life every year....lots of Cancer and Alzheimer's organizations. Pretty much when a friend or family member is walking, we try to give what we can.

Oh my...that layover apron is the cutest thing ever! Can't wait to read who wins that lovely prize.
    My favorite charity is: http://www.covenantcareadoptions.com.
It's a private adoption agency in Georgia that feels the need to not only place children with loving two parent families but also to take care of the birth mother long term, beyond the placement.

I'm not sure if this is considered a "charity", but it is something very close to our hearts having created our family through adoption and knowing how many children will not have the opportunity to find families or stay with their birthparents because of monetary issues:
