There are many things I loved about school, such as the rubber smell of new sneakers, new supplies, new clothes - some of which were boughten and not made by Mom, etc! And to this day, I simply love to learn new things.

I love the thought of the new school year. My children are young and so the world is a whole new thing. New teachers, friends, new, new, new. That excitement is contagious. I brings a smile to my face. Also it is a sad time, summer is over and the fun done.

I loved playing school at recess. I'd gather up my little sister and her friends and put them through more lessons with me as the teacher of course! Poor kids - never got a break!

I had many great teachers and loved them! I loved getting to celebrate seasons and read new books. I guess I just love what I was exposed to at school.

I really enjoyed school. I had the same teacher from 4th till 10th grade and she was just FAB and made me feel so special. My favorite subject was history. I remember how my dad used to help me with my homework every night. It was a wonderful quality time and I sure do miss that. I hope my little girl will remember the quality time we had during her homework when she grows up.

Thanks for the chance to win this FAB give-away!

I loved anything about school that let me be creative. Making a bookmark, coloring, markers... I loved them. I remember looking around and seeing what others were doing. Learning from them how to do it differently (Outlining a picture with crayons-then coloring it in-1st grade) and then tweeking it so it is mine. Creativity is where I thrived. If it involved being creative... an A was in my future! Even my notes in class in highschool had to have a creative twist!

OK-this is not the best example of school memories, so don't tell your kids, but my favorite memory is when a good friend and I snuck off campus and went to Dunkin Donuts. We went to a strict Catholic school and NObody ever did that. Those were the best donuts, ever!

My favorite thing about school was (and still is) shopping for school supplies. I was always so excited to get the school supply list in the mail. I would then bug my mom to take me shopping right away!
