I love the thought of crisp new pens and pencils, the smell of new books, the thoughts of the new and old friends i would meet and the adventures we would have. Being an only child school became an extended family, and a joyous place of laughter, love and learning.

I had many teachers who showed me the love of teaching. Now I am a teacher teaching others computer skills by day (k-8), computer skills at night (adults) and scrapbooking on the weekends! I love what I do! And I love what they teach me too!

Recess!!! and hanging out with my girlfriends...we had a group called the Pink Ladies (from Grease, of course!) and that special weird smell of the inside of a book...?...not sure how else to describe it! I still get a whiff every now and again in schools or libraries.

This kit is so cute... I agree with everyone that brand new school supplies were always really exciting, but I really enjoyed lunch time, especially when we would have no bake chocolate butter balls. We had Moms who worked in our kitchen and cooked us Homemade cookies. It was really Yummy!

I used to love having my birthday celebrated at school. It was all fun - the "Birthday Girl" crown, the class singing to you, and passing out treat bags that mom put together for my special day.

I loved school! I was really thankful for my Spanish teacher, though. She loved us, believed in us, and took us to Mexico to sleep in hammocks over dirt floors. Niiice.
