Sponsor Giveaway | Mary Ann Moss

GIVEAWAY | Three people will receive spots in Mary Ann Moss's online class Remains Of The Day.

Remains Of The Day is the antidote for all of those paper scraps that keep multiplying in your favorite scrap box and clogging up your artistic super highway. In this process AND project oriented class we’ll be constructing a shabby but sturdy journal (like this one) using all of that paper you’ve been hoarding. Ordinary life never looked better than seen through the pages of this stitched up journal of scraps.

My best spring cleaning tip is go outside in the sun and warmer air-then you won't need to clean inside your house! :)

My spring cleaning tip is using oxy clean to clean carpet spots that accumulated during the winter months. Make sure you test a small area first. Oxy clean recently got a spot out of my carpet that I've tried cleaning multiple times. I thought it was here to stay. I'm so glad it's gone!

My tip for you guys - if you are busy mummies or whatever and itching to get into the spring clean.. DO NOT do it all in one go. man you will get "Spring Clean Fatigue" and you will not want to look at another item again. This tip could become a habbit for smaller cleaning jobs.

Ok so.. if your busy take 10 20 minutes a day - even 30 if you have that much time to spare and SET A TIMER. Concentrate on ONE thing to tackle. Like one of your kitchen cupboards.

Empty it out, get rid of the things that are out of date and clean the cupoard. If you feel up to it do 2 but dont go mad.

If you do 20/30 minutes of cleaning each night it breaks it up and enables you to continue living your life.

Then take one full day to your windows, floors, laundry etc. While you are doing your windows dont forget to dust the curtain rail up top, and you can do skirting before you do the floor.

This is a great way to maintain an easy, fast routine for every day cleaning in your home.

The best spring cleaning tip is to just get started. That is always my biggest hurdle. Once I am doing it, I am fine.

I just have to remember when spring is! Having moved to Australia years ago I still feel 'the urge' to spring clean round about now.............but I'm in autumn. To autumn clean, or not to autumn clean...............

I like to go through my closet at the end of each season & donate/throw away anything that I haven't worn that season or that has become to worn out to wear.

Declutter, you can't clean until you get rid of clutter.

Use a damp cloth when wiping down the collected dust on the top of ceiling fans. Depending how much has collected, you can bring a small trash can up with you for the dust to fall into.

My favorite cleaning tip is...make your own cleaning supplies! Its healthier and a more pleasant experience when you use essential oils . Mix up a little baking soda, vinegar, dishwashing detergent, and some orange essential oils.

I like to break things into smaller tasks so that I can fit them in around our busy schedule. For instance, clean a closet one day. And I love to use Mrs. Meyers cleaning products because the house smells so good!

A clothesline. My son put up a clothesline for me for Mother's Day last year. I love it. I even hang throw pillows out, just to freshen them.

My husband will be the first to tell you that cleaning is NOT my gift. Even my children ask who is coming when I start cleaning the house. I clean because I have to and when I have to. The only thing I do in the spring is open the windows. I would love to win this class. It looks wonderful!
